my number is on the national do not call list and I certainly do NOT appreciate the continued calls

Called with recorded message. I took the call. Got a guy who said he was from "Debt Pro", handling unsecured debt. I pointed out I was on the do-not-call list and he hung up abruptly.
Sounded like an American accent.

Recorded message asking if I had over $10,000 debt. Way to reduce debt due to some government regulation. I pressed 1. Spoke to a live person. Asked the name of the company. They hung up on me. Absolutely rude.

This number 250-254-1099 are scum they just want your money any way they can get it mostly after credit cards. they call people on welfare, with no credit cards. they call old people in old age homes waiting for family to contact them, they call people waiting for a call to hear if their loved ones having cancer operations came out ok.  they are the sum of the world but they don't care.  I have done a couple of things got call display and do not answer if I do not reconize the number I am down to one of the scum buckets so far I used to swear at them, they don't like it so with their animated calls they don't get feed back.   They just laugh at us.

WHY oh why do they keep calling!  I hit '1' and told them to take me off the list - they LAUGHED and said that I'm fair game because I'm in the phone book.  I said I'm on the do not call list, and that they could be charged.  Of course they laughed again, and said the government doesn't have enough resources to do that, and that they'd never find them anyhow.  What do they get out of these repeated calls when I'm clearly not interested?  I have a whistle at the ready now, and am going to hit '1' to get a 'real person' and blow it long and hard!!!

called me this morning and I told them to - - - -   - - - Why can't telus handle this I pay for no annonymous calls so why am I getting them The big corporation can't handle it. they should find these people and hire them cause they're running circles around telus.PLANT THE SEED AGAINST CORPORATE GREED!

Called this morning around 845am (I'm in north vancouver). Didn't answer (never do if I don't recognize the number). No message.

Many calls from this number. This morning ther was no area code displayed. I believe the recorded message is about debt consolidation

Called me at 906 AM this morning Dec.12 2011. I never answer a number I don't recognize.

I also got this call on Dec 5 but didn't wait long before hanging up. What a nuisance.

Thanks guys for the info. The A hole phoned again today. I cannot block the call using *60 cus "it came outside the service area". what a useless piece of crap from telus.

I dont get it. U would think that if someone does not pick up by your fifth call, they never will. What kinda idiots do this?

Update. The company that is calling from "250-254-1099" is spoofing a cell number. Definitely a caller to avoid.

Offering debt reduction service.

Caller ID shows an area code of a rural area of the province. Tricky, makes you want to pickup. When I called the number back, I get "this number is not in service".

If you see this caller ID, just ignore it.

WTF??? I have gotten so many calls from idiots in 2 days. I dunno who the heck this is, and I don't want to. didn't pick up. not going to ever.

Just got this call in Creston BC.   Recorded Credit card scam call - just like "Fed Up to the Hilt" posted today.  I wonder if this is  " Caller Id spoofing" ?

called this morning, left no message.

I answered "hello" and he said "hello?" and I said "HELLO" - then the recorded message continued....

"Hello....I'm glad you are listening because the credit card companies sure aren't...." and then he ran on at the mouth with his pre-recorded message (none of which I heard as I was shouting obscenities at whoever was managing this robo call). They hung up before the recording completed. YEAH and DON'T CALL BACK.

Can't find an owner of this number either business or person ... not listed. Just smells bad.
