Today I got the "valued recent customer of Air Canada / Jazz" call from the evil computer on my Telus cellphone. I hung up instead of hitting "1' to accept the valuable prize.  Obvious scam as I am not a recent AC/Jz customer.

I said hello, nobody there...then it hung up....

Got a call at my cell phone, went into my voice mail box, saying they are doing national survey, and your air time can be reimbursed...press 3.  

100% SCAM call, and they had no brain.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number with a message "because I was a valued Jazz airlines customer" and to press 1 for a free gift. Definitely a scam considering I've never flown in my life.....

Received a call on my Bell cell.  Answered.  No response.

Just got a call on my business line from this number and there was no response so I hung up....just another telemarketer Scam.

This number called my house phone in the morning and then my cell phone in the evening. I had voicemail at home but it was cut off and all i got was "press 1 now". Scam. I sure would like to know who sold this information!

I have 3 phones all with different carriers and have had a call to each of them 2 times in less than 24 hours. An employee of mine pressed 1 and got cut off. When I heard about it called the specific carrier and found out its a scam to open an international call, at my cost. Over 200 in just over an hour with most calls going to the middle east. Just a heads up for everyone

Called me on a Rogers cell.  Did not pick up.  They left no message. Dialled the number and recorded message says its disconnected.  Block this number.

got this one today on my Vonage VoIP phone. didn't answer and no message left - just dead air.  reverse phone lookup says it's unlisted.  whatever.  jerks.

I with Shaw and have an unlisted/private number and they still call.

call display is an excellent invention.

This has to be a scam. What is interesting is that as I am trying to get into their system to collect their scam info, after I have confirmed that I am over 25 and hold a credit card (Don't worry I won't give them the number), when I put my phone on speaker phone, they drop the call. This has happened twice, like they don't want to be exposed.
They start by saying "because you are a preferred Air Canada jets customer, we have a free gift for you". I so wish the phone companies would set up a system where they could trace all calls so this garbage would stop!!

received a call on my Virgin Mobile at 2:38pm Vancouver Time but missed the call and this # called was long distance.  No voice or text messages left.  I ONLY USE THIS CELL PHONE FOR 9-1-1 EMERGENCIES ONLY!

I do not give my # to anyone but family and friends that I trust.  I am also on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

PLEASE STOP CALLING OR I WILL IGNORE ALL INCOMING CALLS, DELETE ANY MESSAGES, AND REPORT IT INTO THE WEB.  CHECK THE # YOU ARE CALLING AND TRY AGAIN!!

I just got the same call right now at 5:40pm on Nov 26 2010. I did some looking around and found out who it was that was calling. The Companys name is Camas Cleaning in Victoria British Columbia hope this helps.

Had a missed call from 250-590-8462 today around 4:50pm on my Rogers cell. Didn't answer as I'm at work and I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I do NOT give out my cell number so it must be my provider that is selling my details. There is just too much spam in this day and age!

Got a call tonight from the same number (250 590 8462).  It was from "Air Canada" initially, who promply handed me over to a Cancun Property telemarketer promising a 5 night 6 day all expense paid vacation for 2, once I confirmed I was over 25 and had a valid credit card.  I live in a spotty cell phone coverage area, 1 or 2 bars at most, so before he could give me the final offer I couldn't refuse, we lost the call.  He has not called me back.

Had two missed calls from this number, tried calling back and got a message that said "the number that you are trying to reach is no longer in service".  soooooooo sketchy.
