I got a call from this number and when i called it back a few times i got charged on my phone bill for it because its a Rhwanda number.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone two days ago. I didn't pick up. Today it called my work number. When I responded a recorded message said that I had been chosen to receive free air miles from Air Miles Canada. I was told to hold for an agent. Then Hector answered after a minute or so and asked me for my name. He represents Global Travel Group or something. I just said that I am not interested and requested that my information be removed from their database.

Interesting. Mine was also to my cell phone and they were claiming to be West Jet . I clicked through and when the woman came on the line she said she was with Global something Travel. I cut her off and said "it said you were with West Jet" pause "Uhm" then I said "you represented yourself as being with WestJet". then they hung up. Needless to say I called West Jet to let them know.

Same here but I sent it to voice mail. I never answer calls from a number I don't know or if number/name are blocked. Sheesh, just had number changed on Friday because of Bell Telemarketers calling 15 to 20 times a day.

Got this call on my cell phone - didn't answer and from everyone's response here, glad I didn't.
I want the old rotary dial phones back. Atleast the caller had to spend a minute dialing the number instead of this auto dialer spam
