I didn't answer anyway   think most people are like me,  if i don't know , I don't answer,  and if its important, they witll leave a message. if not ,  who cares , I don't call them back.  just google the number,

I received this phone call this morning. And it only rang once! Thought about calling it back  but decided not to. I have been getting calls all morning like this. I even got one from south Africa!

Recorded message telling me I will get a rebate card if I press 1 on the phone.

Same thing here. Very short ring, no voice mail. Glad I checked here before I thought to call back in case it is a scam.

Same here tonight February 17, 2014.  Rang just once.  To be on the safer side, DO NOT call back in the case it is some kind of spam that could result in enormous phone charges that will probably wouldn't be waived by your cellphone carrier.  Better safe than sorry.
