It has, it's on a server that was compromised and has been taken offline according to the company the numbers belong to.

It's part of a massive phishing scam - mine claiming to be from Bank of America - and I've gotten 4 today alone.  Whatever you do, don't call or give them any information.  Don't even text reply stop.  Cnet has an article with links to all the carriers procedures for reporting spam.  

I'm surprised to find this # in the US... I'm guessing it's been re-routed a few times.

I have no acct at Bank of America.  
I just put in credit app with Chase Bank and I think they sold info already because I have started getting an onslaught of debt collection calls.  So, I'm guessing this is also a debt collector.

Same thing as above.  Google search does wonders when a scam is suspected.

Just got a text same thing. I called the number and got a message that it was not a good number, tried to text remove backhand got an error message   And what looked like many email addresses that are linked.  Defiantly a scam

Got a text message from "text@text.att.net". It said, "MSG: Contact 1-251-300-3707". Sure would like to know who this is!

Just got the message from text@text.att.net MSG: Contact 1-251-300-3707.  Searched and found this thread.  Glad I didn't call it.

Today I received an SMS from:

As others above, expect SPAM.  Did not call.

I just received an SMS supposedly coming from (410)-000-001 with the text:
FRM:text@text.att.net MSG:Contact:1-251-300-3707

I'm on AT&T. The number that shows as sender for me has a lot of scams and spams reported with it.

BS spam text. Scammers.

Return of the annoying BofA scam.  Received a text from txt@info.com saying:
Subject: BankOfAmerica Contact: (251)-300-3707

Received texts like these earlier in September several times a day from different numbers.  Noticed mostly Sprint phones were affected.  Text "spam *domain name of spammy email*" (ex. "Spam info.com") to 9999 on a Sprint phone to 1) Notify Sprint of the spam and 2) Block further texts from that domain from coming to your phone.

Just received a text to call 1-251-300-3707.  Made the call and got a recording for bank of America card check. I do not have an account with this institution. Sounds like a scam to get your card number and personal info.
