Yes I experienced the same thing. I tried calling them about 5 times and just like you it was the wrong number. It was a number for an adult entertainment hotline. I sent a certified mail to the Plainfield address and they did not pick it up. My post office said there is no such address. I paid my $15.00 fee for the application and then later a $50.00 fee for my RFI travel form. I called my local better business bureau about them and they told me to get as much information about them as possible. Yes I with you these people are a scam and must be stopped.

Same thing happened to me today. Got a call from them claiming to be a mediation service and stated that I was being served papers for a loan over three years ago. Strange thing is, I actually did take out a loan just as they stated, but the loan was paid in full with one payment. I would love for them to serve me papers because I'll countersue the crap out of them. I have my bank statement proving the loan was paid. I called back to tell them I had proof of the loan being paid in full. They told me to fax the bank statement to them, so they could pass it on to the loan company. I'm not sending them anything (per the FTC's instructions), but I seriously doubt they'll send those bogus papers to me now since I have proof of the loan being paid.

Received a call from this company today. They claimed to be a collection agency trying to collect a debt. Said I needed to take care of it today or else papers would be served and I would be taken to court. Caller said they had all my information - checking acct. #, address, last four of SSN, etc. which made me really nervous. I called the bank regarding the loan and discovered I actually took out a loan with the company they claimed to represent. However, the loan was paid in full. Not sure how this company acquired all this information of me, but it appears they hacked into the loan companies' system. Maybe the loan company is bogus too! I don't know. I called the FTC and reported them, then filed a fraud alert with the credit bureaus.

A woman named Julie Porter has been calling my family members from this number trying to collect debt from me saying there a charges filed against me.

I didnt get a call from this company, but i did get a call from a service that works for them. A local process server or something. i went on to google and punched in the number and thought it was a scam so i called the place to let them know that it is illegal to call my office. they said they do not make calls from there, and that they are a "mediation firm". they said they have a company that will serve me. i hung up on them. i got my papers today. i am being sued by a pay day loan i pulled out years ago. I dont even know what a mediation firm is. Can i just pay this instead of being sued???? HELP?

Got a voucher from these people Vacation Consultants International when I called they are no longer in business. Whats the deal anyone experiencing this with these people??
