At first i just read the text & wondered what ''brand of what '' is the person talking about ,then i googled the # +252 which turns out to be Somalia code & sensed it maybe a scam as i know zero souls in Somalia.

I am getting constantly harassed by phone number 25290664198. I didn't understand who was calling because there are too many numbers. They would call up to 10 times a day for the past few weeks. Then the text messages started which sprint charged ME for. They were from someone in Somalia and consisted of broken English messages from someone asking for money. The phone company couldn't help and couldn't seem to block the number successfully. I finally had to change my number.

I too am receiving these calls. They began 8-30-09 and usually around 9am PST and 9pm PST. I have never answered, as I do not recognize the number. They are using several 252 area code numbers.

I'm hoping if I never answer they will stop. Has anyone tried putting your number on the do not call list? (the government website)

I get the same ones, the problem is +252 numbers are Somalian numbers, they are calling from Somalia, it happens to me constantly and they just don't understand STOP, WRONG NUMBER, i have been getting this calls for weeks and they won't stop, i have to turn my phone off at night or i get calls at 2-4AM constantly

Starting on Thursday morning 3/6/08 at 3:00am I started getting phone calls every 15-30 minutes by someone who doesn't speak English. Finally at 5:30am I got up. The calls have continued since then and usually between 10:30pm and 5:00am, although they called this morning at 11:03 am. Sometimes they say something on my answering machine. I have tried to tell them to stop calling but it doesn't help. I did *69 the first night and got the number above, now when I dial *69 it says the call cannot be completed. I did start a police trace on the call tonight but of course I have to pay $4 each time I call that number. Has anyone else gotten this type of call?
