I was trying to sell a Samsung galaxy s4. He texted me and said he was buying it for his nephew.  He said he was going to pay me  forty dollars over asking price. He didn't ask me any questions about it. Just asked for my paypal email. Then told me to make sure I check inbox and spam. The email was just like someone else descriped. Not really from paypal. And he wanted me to send it to Nigeria.  So I was telling my boyfriend it was sketchy and had not yet texted him back. And he sent multiple text demanding that I leave for the post office that second. And that I need to tell him when I get there. So I haven't texted back at all and then he tells me to "rot in hell". But beware because the number he is using now is 774 999 5759 and it says it is a Massachusetts number.

I was trying to sell off my old laptop on craigslist. The first red flag was when he said he was willing to pay me a 270$ for a laptop which in its right sense wouldn't even sell off at a 100$. Then I checked the number, and it gave off the exact name that he used to do the scam ! "Micheal Prescott". Lazy Scammer !! At least don't make it obvious.
He was hesitant in giving away the place where he wanted me to ship it to. At last he said, Lagos, Nigeria whereas its a NC state number. Too dumb to pull this off !!

Wanted to buy a laptop from me but don't like selling to out of staters so I searched his phone number and found this site. Thanks!!

Got this response on a Craigslist ad:

Of course $750 was $75 over my asking price, scammer for sure!

A SCAMMER NAMED MICHAEL PRESCOTT  sent me the below message for an item I had listed on a NJ Craigslist! Item was a Nexus 10 (16GB) BRAND NEW IN BOX - $300

THIS IS A SCAMMER!!! ONLY DO FACE TO FACE AND CASH WHEN SELLING ON CRAIGSLIST DEFEATS THESE PIECE OF GARBAGE SCAMMERS!

This was all done by text:  Scammer, tried to buy my Samsung Galaxy III off Craigslist, said he was going to use paypal and pay more than I had asked, but sent me fictitious payment confirmations that say they are from Paypal but are actually from Service@paypal.com <memberservice@accountant.com>.  Also, these emails went to spam, so that was the first red flag.  Second, the cell number is in North Carolina but the address he wants it shipped to is
