Addy 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
This is another one of those warranty scams, like people have said above. When will they STOP?
AJ 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
Yea I just got a call form these people..... knew my car and everything. I have a factory extended warranty. Kicker is I never updated my phone number which is only 2 weeks old (cell). how they found it...... hopefully they never call me again!
Bones 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
Damnit, I think they tried to offer me a warranty on my life and I would of went with a reasonable plan but they always call at weird times and never leave messages so their loss, I was gonna atleast go for 500 bucks a week.....tis tis!!
mess with telemarketers 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
When they call, tell them that you are letting the warranty expire on your new Ferrari because you don't see the reason to pay for a warranty when you bought the car with cash in the first place and if someone wrecks it, you'll just go back and buy another.
AMM 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
JUST GET A BUSY SIGNAL WHEN I CALL BACK - WHAT CAN THEY GAIN FROM THIS????
Annoyed 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
Did not answer it... had many of these in the past. Scam
Office manager 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
By the time the call got to me, it was about half way through the recorded message. I don't have a car with a warranty about to expire - it did so about 100,000 miles ago; the company I work for doesn't have a car with a warranty about to expire - that happend about 60,000 miles ago.
I wish there was a way to get calls blocked for at a business number as well as at home.
I didn't bother to get to the end of the message, I hung up
Holli 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
this is getting ridiculous! I get atleast 3 of the phone calls to my cell phone a day. Why in the hell would i want to pay to talk to someone whose services I don't require. I don't even have a car!!!!
Dionne 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
Just got 2 calls back to back. When I called back the line is busy. Any clue what it's about?
Fabian 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
Just got the call, didn't answer. Tried using a majicJack phone to call back since it's in the US and it's free, a busy dial tone came up. Gets really old getting random calls from some state.
Kasey 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
Called my cell yesterday so I called back on a line they had never called before so I didn't get charged for the minutes and was instantly connected to a line that asked if you do not wished to be called again by us hit 1 so I hit 1. Now they call both lines... When I called the guy out for adding me rather then deleting me he hung up on me.

this number has been calling my company for about a year, although the name on the id has changed the number has not. The name being displayed today is Harrell Euralee. The address that goes along with this is bogus.

Called at 2:51pm on Tuesday, April 28th, 2009. Press 2, blah blah blah.

Apparently, this may have something to do with signing up for something online via an ad service on Facebook. I have no idea which ad it was but someone signed me up for it yesterday (as a harmless joke) and now I'm getting bombarded with calls from 8663949150 and 2526363841. I'm trying to track it down. I don't know if they're related, but they both started today. Keep in mind this is NOT Facebook's fault, it's the person who signed up for the ad's fault. Someone gave your numbers out somehow (possibly, yourself) and gave people permission to call you. There is nothing you can do to prevent this once your permission is "virtually" given.
Also, NO ONE is releasing cell phone records anytime soon, it's an urban myth. If you're getting phone calls, it's because you or someone you know gave your number out and gave them permission to call it. I'm trying to track down whatever my friend signed me up for. This could've been from buying a new car to filling out a survey to signing up for something online. Most people aren't even aware they're giving permission out until it's too late.

got a call an hour ago. I don't even own a car!
Caped Avenger 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
I now know how these people got my number. There are games on Facebook, namely, "Yo Ville" and "Farm Town" which use virtual coins to buy things. You take surveys to get more coins. Some of the surveys ask you for your REAL NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE NUMBER. This is how my number was released and why I'm gettting these calls. (My friend used my name and number). I'm guessing that either you or someone you know (your teenage kid maybe?) used your number in a survey to get more coins to play their game.

These idiots don't seem to know when to stop.
Bad enough that the numbers I have are not listed, but
what is up with that? Maybe Tracfone or MagicJack have
holes in their security or something, or sold me out?
Jenna 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
The called my yesterday in class I looked it up and now the name it's under is Euralee Harrell
Richard Swan 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
I hung up on another business call to accept this pest. My vehicles are all too old to have warranties and were purchased from private parties so there is absolutely no validity to this nuisance call.
Call came in on my cell phone.
Varmints like these people should be shot. Including the "innocent" employees who are "just following orders." they're part of the problem, too.
Richard Swan 2011-06-06 20:44:16 Unknown
I avoid Facebook and the others like the plague they are. Only my business contacts and personal friends have my cell number.
these calls are just broadcasts and when we finally catch up with this piece of waste we will find an elaborate electronic setup that is just dialing randomly and a lot (probably using the internet so they aren't paying for these zillions of calls).
The calls aren't the worst of it. what do you think happens when some fool contacts them? Rip off!

This has nothing to do with FACEBOOK, as I don't have an account and have been getting calls from this number. They last called on 4/25 at 1:41 p.m. (I kept their # on my cellphone). TODAY, I just got a call from a 206-855-4743. Didn't answer it, but looked up the number and it is the same as this. WARRANTY stuff. I have my home phone on the national and state DO NOT CALL lists. I just registered my cell number on it on-line. Said it'll take 31 days before we can expect these calls to stop. Check out the msgs on the "206" phone number, and it has a link to the nat'l DO NOT CALL registry. GOOD LUCK!

I have received several of these types of calls on my cell phone. One call came Thursday May 7 while I was at work and it showed up as restricted and I decided I would answer it.When the called asked what make, model and year of vehicle I was calling about I told her 1965 Mustang, she said 1965 ok thank you and hung up on me.I have received one call about vehicle warranty since and I argued with them on the phone for awhile. If you anser these calls I think if you tell them a old year of car they will eventually quit.Maybe!!
I think the FTC jis our best route.File a complaint.
