I have been receiving calls from this number off and on for several months. They always ask for someone by name. I always tell them they have a wrong number, but then weeks later I get another call asking for the same person.  

in the past several months i received  2 call on the first day 5 days later 1 call 5 days later 1 call.when i answered the  1st call
half way though his  BS i said are you reporting a crime? he said what? i repeated and said you have reached the  U S I A .
he said whats that i told him it was  United States Investigative agency ( i did not create a crime because there is no such agency)...he sain no and hung up...15 min later same # call back i answer the phone dept.of  u s i a  how may I..heard a click
the next 2 calls i saw the number  and answered the same way and got the same response ...CLICK....and the calls stopped.
    i really wanted one more call so i could finish my plan......I was going to say let me put you on hold for a second and  yell somebody quick run a trace on this number...I'm sure i would have heard another CLICK and maybe  cause some pause with him for the rest of his bad feeling day

When this # comes up on my caller I'd, answer it, b*tch where have you been, The police have been looking for you for weeks. They have quit calling me....... :)

Just sent this caller to voicemail. It was likely forwarded to a phone bank where the caller picked up after my voicemail prompt. He sounded confused said hello a few times then hung up a couple minutes later.

Number has called my phone 6 times since Monday.  Twice a day the same time.  Do not leave a message. This is ridiculous, why can't something be done about these scammers?

These people are scamming anyone they can. They already tried to pull the whole scam on me. They call saying they are from the US Grants Department in Washington, D.C. They have $9000 waiting on me and want me to send $250 western union to India so they can send the "grant" money. I partnered with a western union rep who advised me against it. She set up a fake tract number to give them. When they went to receive their money and found out we tricked them, the guy cussed me out and threatened me and my family's lives. They called me back for three day cussing me out and threatening me. I just received a call 3 days ago starting out like they did before. When I said the word scam, they hung up. They just tried again and said it wasn't a scam this time. I was the one cussing and hanging up this time. There isn't anything I can do to make them stop calling. They aren't even in the U.S.

I am getting an average of 6 calls each and every single day including Sundays from (253) 205-0739. They start coming in at 9am and stop about 10pm. This heavy accented (possibly turkish or india accent) man calls and asks for Eliza or Elizabet (not elizabeth, nor is my real name anything close to that). When I say I don't know who that is, they just hang up on me. When I try to call the number back, it gives me a busy signal. When I told the man to remove my number from his call list, he just said no. And then hung up. This seems to be a bit of a legal issue for invasion of privacy and fraud

They started to call me yesterday. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer which how I handle strange numbers. If it's legitimate they will leave a message which they didn't. They called back today. Bye bye number permanently blocked.

Just called me as well. A foreign-sounding lady informed me that she is 'calling from Washington DC, ok? And calling to let you know that you have qualified for a $7000 grant, ok?' Hmm, they need to change callers to sound a bit more legit.

Same thing: the caller claims he's from US Grants. When he heard I was the wife of the person he was calling he hung up! This makes me worried about what information they have about us already when they call!

stop these calls and I am not playing...we are born here in the us, we pay our bills and we shouldn't have to be harass from people like that

this number has been harassing me as well, but if something isn't done about it someone will get hurt...my sons are very angry and one is a private investigator, it needs to stop and it's always a man

Called came in @ 3:38pm on 1/9/14 ... no messages it just rings nonstop every other day at different times .

A man with a thick foreign accent called from this number (253-205-0739) and told me to collect the $5,000 grant (sometimes it's $7500 depending on the day) I have been approved for and he claims it is a government grant. He has called NUMEROUS times after I have specifically told him to stop calling me. Every time I try to ask him questions (i.e. how did I get approved for this grant? where did he get my information?) he hangs up. Today when he called I told him to stop calling me and he started screaming into the phone "SHUT UP AND LISTEN! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" And I repeatedly said he needed to stop calling - he hung up again and I have blocked the number.

THIS MAN WILL NOT STOP CALLING ME...He is so rude to me and I finally had my boss answer to tell him I died...LOL he responded..."oh so sorry" click. Hopefully that will make him stop. Who is this guy!

Caller ID is not reliable. Many numbers can be spoofed on both ID and number..

I have had this same issue, told them to take me off their list and to quit calling. Today they called and told me to shut my mouth when I asked who was calling and hung up on me

I got a call on my cell phone from this number.  The caller was a man with an accent and said I had won a grant for $5,000.   He would not explain how or why!

this number had called plenty of times and i do not answer since i do not recognize the number - one day i decided to answer and low and behold, there was actually a live person (female) that informed me that she was calling from the federal government grant office in washington d.c. and i had been awarded a seven thousand dollar grant - i mentioned to her to send me this information in the mail - she said that she would - she did not ask me for a mailing address - she hung up - fyi

Same happened to me but just out of the blue. I told them there must be a mistake I was an FBI agent and we went allowed to take free money. All I heard was a click.

I received a call fron this number this morning. I didn't answer due to not recognizing the number. They actually left a voicemail. It was very hard to make out what the person said. There was a lot of noise in the backround and the man had an accent. I was able to make out that he saidbhe was from the United States Department of Treasury, and needed to speak to me right away. Sure you are, buddy. Just another one of those scammers.

This number calls me several times a day, I finally picked up today out of annoyance and "Peter" says he is a rep from The federal government grant office and that I had won free grant money. I couldn't understand "Peter's" thick indian accent and asked him to repeat himself... and was told to go F**** myself and then he hung up. I called back and got no answer just a busy tone.

Have had 3 calls today from this number no voicemail left.  They are clearly scamming people so why cant something be done about it.  Pathetic losers rather spend all day on the phone then finding a real job!
