As far as the 'Do Not Call' list, I think it was just to make more government jobs, it's a complete joke!
253-236-2012 must get passed around from one politician to another.  Ans. mach. ans. the call & at 1st said something about joining a Town Hall meeting with Trent Franks & it kept going on, so I picked up, then hung up.  He's from AZ, so why would the # be out of WA?  
This is no way to win votes, Mr. Franks!

Said "Tele town hall".  Answered and phone connected, but no one there.

I keep getting calls from this number claiming to be a Teamster's Union discussion panel and ask if they could keep my phone line open for thirty minutes after the discussion.

My answer machine took call. It was Congressman
Dan Mafei. I thought he was from Central New York.
My question is:  Why is he calling from the
Seattle, WA area and not from NY?

Political message ... supposedly for Texans ... but calling from Washington State?

They called me 6-8 times in 1/2 hour !!
At one time, we were on the Do Not Call List.

Got this call, came up on caller id as tele town hall. It was a prerecorded message telling me to stay on the line to participate in their meeting.  The area code comes from the other side of the state where i live. Why would i want to listen in on theire meeting?  I hung up and not even 30 sdconds later they called back.

The do not call list is a joke. I am on it but yet i still keep getting all sorts of solicitation calls.

They called twice let it ring, hung up and called again.

Don't know who keeps calling. # unknown to me; ergo, i don't answer. ID says "Town Hall."

I think the Do Not Call list was conveniently crafted to "exclude" political calls....
