I just got a call which I will add to my block list. I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers. If other phone models are connected you will still get the first ring on them.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.

B*****ds called me at 8:50pm. Senior Alert was the caller ID. They should know that seniors fall asleep at 8pm.

Phone screen read AUBURN WA and this number. I let it go to answer but no message was left. Number now blocked.
Based on notes above these are the medic alert scammers who want to know where to ship my free medic alert system. I got a call from them last night from a different area code. I guess they are just hoping I'll pick up the phone.

Some scammy-sounding medical-alert thing for seniors (PLUS COUPONS!!!).
Agent hung up on me when I complained that the number called is on the "Do Not Call" list and asked to talk to a supervisor.
How do these low-lifes teach their kids to be honest and polite when they themselves are such losers? Probably they don't. All the more reason why the FTC should disconnect their phones.

Do what I do every time I get a call I don't recognize .... DON't Answer it....then Google the number and find out what the call is about. 99.9 percent are scammers.

This is a robocall from the National Senior Assistance Program to tell you that you qualify for $3000.00 worth of free food coupons, etc.
Caller ID comes in from ?Auburn, WA?.

They've left dozens of messages on my answering machine despite me being on the DNC list for many years now. Really getting tired of these idiots so I filed a complaint.

My phone showed " Senior Alert ", @ 19:00, 12/05/2013. and 253-245-2327. The person did not said any word. I told him" Pease do not call again.". He ( she ) did not spoke probably he used other number to call us before & I told him " not to call: So he kept silent. Many people already reported to www.800notes.com since 10/16/2013.
I received my call about shipping : Senior alerts to me ." in last 10 months. I have used its " Opt out " to remove my numbers, but they always call back.

Caller ID says SENIOR ALERT, left no message
cate 2013-11-27 02:22:25 Prank Call
Caller ID says SENIOR ALERT, left no message. Clayton (14 November) above says they claim to be Navigator to help senior find insurance...this is totally bogus, please everybody over 65 do not fall for it. If you are on Medicare, you do not need a "navigator" for the Obamacare. If someone tells you that, they are trying to get your info for illegal purposes.

Unknown call type. No message left. Caller ID says SENIOR ALERT.
jack44 2013-11-14 13:48:41 Prank Call
They called before on different numbers, and this one late at night. They are awful stupid, why would I talk or order or even want something that is clear across the country in another state- I live in TN not Washington.
Pigs are all they are. worthless pigs. And dumb at that. They always hang up anyway, so that's good, I don't like talking to dumb pigs.

Got at least three or four phone calls from 253-245-2327. They claim to be a " Navigator " to help the elderly sign up for the new Healthcare Program. They claim to be a Government sponsored group called Acorn and needed some info to get the ball started. I hung up.
sherry 2013-11-13 23:07:09 Unknown
Got 2 calls from Senior Alert, 253-245-2327, both times I was hung up on....not an automated system either...could tell it was an actual person hanging up

Attempted scammers of the elderly. I hope that when this group of scammers become elderly, a new group comes along and scams them, to the extent they must live on the street or in the woods!
Billie 2013-11-12 22:54:40 Unknown
There is an article in the July-August issue of the AARP Bulletin that warns of, and explains, the medic alert for seniors scam, that is well worth the reading.
Lyn 2013-11-12 22:34:54 Unknown
Call received Nov. 12th, 4:09pm, I did not answer nor was a message left on my answering machine. Caller ID was Senior Alert.
Suzee 2013-11-12 21:11:57 Unknown
Senior Alert. I never answer any call unless I know who it is. Only rang 3 times so I'm sure they've called before and never got an answer.
