Called, and left no message.

This time, a robo-voice made a statement, something like "This is your verification number......" and it read off a long series of numbers. Then it immediately hung up. When I called the number back, it asks you to leave your phone number on a message so that they can take you off of their solicitation list. Very strange.   BTW, the call is answered by a robo-voice that says, "Thank you for calling our customer service line". You are never given an option to speak to a live person. I gave them my phone number, to take me off their list, and they called me back an hour later.

Called me on 08/12/2009 no message.

The above number called me today, August 19th at 6:49 p.m.  I did not answer and no message was left.

so far 3 days--3 calls.  Message left the first time only, it was robo-voice saying call back. (yeahright)

I don't know this number and wish they would stop calling me.

Report it to the FCC.  Don't leave any information.

This company called 9 times since Oct 29th.  There is never anyone there and they don't leave a message.   The national do not call registry will investigation complaints on companys that call people on the do not call list in violation of the law but since there are so many violators they only investigate the callers with the highest number of complaints.  Please report callers in violation to:

Called multiple times and left no message...

Received call from this number just before 9 yesterday. Did have a voicemail but it was so scratchy that you couldn't understand. Did not call back, but good thing I googled the number this morning and found these posts. Such a hack! We are on the do not call list and have been for some time!

There are several ways you can sue telemarketers and I would sue this company up their wazoo.

Debt collector trying to verify your telephone number (because you never answered any of their other calls) and fishing for any other contact information that they can dig up by posing as newspaper subscription customer service reps.

I received a call in the early evening, after dinner.  There was no message or voice, just a hang up.  The number was not blocked from *69 so a reverse search brought me here.  Rather cryptic.

Also receiving calls from this number at all times of the day and night.  Will ask Verizon to block this number.

We're on the Do Not Call list, but for the past two weeks this phone number has called my house 4-5 times a day. Never leaves a message. I've reported them to the Do Not Call Registry and encourage everyone to do the same.

They've called me about a half dozen times and I've picked up twice. It says its Verifas or something similar and then it hangs up. I will look into reporting them to my carrier, Verizon.

I received call from this number today saying my payment for Local paper didn't go thru to Credit card... I know last payment did on 8/20... seems they were fishing for Credit card info... I will be calling Newpaper in the morning...

I also keep getting calls from this number.  I finally picked up and they claimed to be calling about my new Contra Costa Times newspaper subscription.   However, the number is from Tacoma, Washington and the newspaper is in Northern California.   After asking me some questions about my newspaper subscription (it seemed like they were fishing for something and I felt uncomfortable), they asked if I wanted to extend my subscription for 4 weeks for free.  I said fine, but then they asked for my e-mail address.  I said no way.  I then hung up and called the newspaper.  They have no record of this call and my subscription has not been extended.  This seems like an identity theft organization.  I have a really creepy feeling about this.

I receive numerous calls from this number on a daily basis & there is usually an automated message that says it will try me again later.  Extremely annoying!

Has called me 4 times in the last few days, never leaves a message. I picked up one call and it was an automated message that read back its number to me then hung up. I tried calling back and just heard a loud beep.

I have also received several calls from this number and I am already on the do not call list.  It is very annoying.

left a message that if I did not want to be called again I should leave a number etc.  I am on the do not call list now.

Called in early evening.  Left no message.  When I dialed back, the recording thanked me for calling customer service and said that if I want to be removed from their calling list to input my number & that it would take up to two days to be removed.  I hesitantly did.  A week later, I am still receiving calls.  Called from my work number and tried to push 0 for an operator, as well as #, & * then the line disconnected.
