It's a scam. Don't give them anything personal.

Total SCAM. They told me I had been selected to receive a US federal grant of $7800 and all I had to do was go to a western union with $325 for "insurance" and that the money would be in my account within 45 mins. They were all Indian and I could barely understand them.

Don't do it just called me!!! A scam for sure

These people told me that I was awarded a United States Federal Grant in the amount of $1,700 and that all I needed to do was to pay a fee of $300 for insurance on the wire transaction and that the money would be wired into my account within 45 minutes! They got my routing number, account number and bank name. Because my mom taught me something that sounded to good to be true usually was, I told them they could deduct the $300 from the grant and deposit the balance! When they said they couldn't do that I told them I wasn't paying them ANYTHING in adavsnce without verification & confirmation of who the were. I asked for there specific location, the company or organization name and the representative callings name! The lady became rude and obnoxious & hung up without providing any requested information! I called back and they continued to be rude and told me not to call back & hung up on me again! I called again and they wouldn't answer the phone! I blocked my number and called and the same lady answered! I politely said I needed some information and asked for the same information as before! She apparently recognized my voice and said "don't call back again or your going to find out who we are"! I responded, "No, I'm calling the FBI and reporting y'all and they will find out who y'all are"! I am informing the Jacksonville FL local FBI Field office!
DON'T GIVE THESE SCAMMERS ANY MONEY!!!

Monica, I'm curious because I got a call from someone and they said the same about U.S Grant monies to be disbursed. I called them back at 253-271-4636 the number they called from and it's given an error code. I called the phone company first, they said SCAM as I suspected. Did you get help from the police in your area?

These people have been calling me for the past few months & I've asked them to remove me from their calling list. It stops for a few weeks & then they start calling me again. This is definitely  scam!!!

they called me yesterday,  two different times. I called them back today and now none of their numbers are working. I  will be calling the police.

they called me yesterday wanting $260 to be sent by western union to receive $8500 and that the $260 would be refunded back into my account. I did not do this. they are saying that this is from the us federal.government then why do you need to send.money to Nepal? to receive this money? doesnt make sense. that was the res flag for me.

hey guys i just got a call today and i feel its just a scam bcz the first person mr.billy weaver said there a huge amt of unwanted funds of your same name of a deceased person and the govt. want to give it to you and he gave a no. to call me back  to somone named Jennifer and she was relating to some lottery thing of 8500.The whole thing seems tom just like a fraud.She said to deposit 300 dollars and they will give to me back .Well i going to play them tomorrow.lets see what hjappens.?

I got about a grant approval or prize. they didnt say it was a prize. but i got money to do what ever from thegovernment. but i have to go to western union or money gram and pay a 280.00 dallar fee to get that money and it would be refunded. just making a note. but ilooked up the number on a different site and the stats are different from this site. norh california to washington. well see the truth soon. thanx/

I got the Same Call And Am On The Phone With Them Now. They Claim Its Not A Scam And Gave Me A Website They Have. I'm Not Doing This But Would Like To Know How To report Them?

I received the same message and talked to my father-in-law who is a federal judge. He said its a scam they want either a bank account information, credit card information or to "deposit" $360 in a western union account to receive your $7000. IT'S A SCAM! Feel free to report them to the attorney general's office.
