Consumers submitted 208,362 complaints to the FTC regarding unsolicited telephone calls from Pacific Telecom phone numbers between the dates of between June 2012 and August 24, 2012.   Over 25% of all complaints submitted to the FTC during this period were filed against Pacific Telecom phone numbers.

Hey, Tom's cell number still works. I called and told him I got a call from 253-382-9901 and I called it back and it went to his cell lol so now he's all freaked out! So call him, 509-701-4748, and have a nice conversation. I'm sure someone is paying his cell phone bill.

He just changed his number it is now 1 (509) 622-2800 Tom Novotney.   He calls me daily why not give him a call so he can take you off of his list.

I am in AZ and keep getting these calls, if they indeed are connected to QWEST, they will be canceled-I don't know why I have to have them in the 1st place! I use my Verizon cell for the majority of my service! They need to get a life and stop hanging up on us. I just called the number and they said "Neck or Next or ?" but I hit the proverbial "1" to be removed...for all the good that may do. It is a telemarketer. What has our world come to?

Thank you, I just emailed him for whatever that's worth. I have no problem canceling QWEST. They call and hang up without saying a word daily-all times of the day. Leave us ALONE. Thanks for the info.

Get a Motorola Atrix cell phone.  Forward your home calls to your cell.  Create a list of unwanted callers.  Apply "silent" ringtone.  The Motorola Atrix can store many times over what your 30 number device will.  I've got over 60 trash phone numbers on my GARBAGE LIST.  Thank you Motorola.

I'm going to find these guys and kill 'em all.  They'll have a horse head surprise waiting for them in the parking lot.

Do this role Playing: Pretend you are a mortician: " Thanks for calling FRESH CADAVER MORTUARY, How may I help you?".... If the person is still on the other line, follow up with...."May I have the name of the deceased relative, please."...if he/she hasn't hang up..add, "And may I have your name sir/ma'am..

Will work best if you have caller ID so you can easily spot the "cadaver's relative"..

I am on the DO NOT CALL list but still get these calls from this number.  I WANT IT STOPPED.

I get so many of these pestering phone calls, that my call blocker on my phone is full.  It only holds 30 phone numbers so now I am erasing some of the older ones who have stopped calling, and adding the new ones.

First time for a call from this company. Caller ID showed "Telco"  I didn't recognize the number so I let it ring.  It didn't even make it a full 4 rings for the answering machine to pick up.  Are these telemarketers being paid for the number of calls they make regardless of whether they actually speak to anyone?

Bought a phone that allows me to block calls. Rings once, caller ID reads "CALL BLOCKED" and hangs up

CONSTANT Irritating Marketing Calls from Tacoma area.  Can someone please do something about this.

I am in Texas and these jerks call on a daily basis.  I love the Homicide Detective answer.  Think I will use it the next time and maybe just maybe they will take me off there list.  Jerks!

They called again this morning. My call blocker hung up after the first ring. If a call rings more than once I'll answer it if it only rings once my Diigitone hung up on them. I love my call blocker. They never re-dial when they are hung up on.

Got a call this morning (9:50) from this number, my machine answered, they hung up.

Getting calls from this number -no message left -please do not call

I have started using a different tactic that seems to work, or at least did with the car warranty uplift calls.  They one time claimed since I had done business with a car dealer, then they were exempt from the do not call list because I had business relationship, somewhat true.  I started calling and emailing every dealer I had done business with, and used the internet to find and call every legit service extension company.  The president of one said they had received hundreds of calls and was putting pressure on AG to resolve issues.  Almost every state's AG has been involved.  I will start calling legitimate home security companies, telling them I didn't get the number they called me from.  Maybe email FBI to verify statement

Just received a call from 253-382-9001 but did not pick up since I didn't recognize the phone number. I called the number and received a prerecorded call stating they were a marketing firm (they didn't say what firm). They also added that if you don't wish to receive their marketing calls....press 1 and allow 24 hours. We shall see.

This number calls once or twice daily leaves no message what good is do not call?
