No one there when I answered the call. Caller ID says Local Placement
finger bang 2012-12-12 21:59:40 Unknown
oooo doggie.........talk sex to them they like it doggie
Tina 2012-11-15 21:09:56 Prank Call
Caller ID says Ad Placement. Robocaller says something about Google ad placement. Apparently they think we listen to their spew. Pressing 9 to be removed doesn't work, so I press 1 and let them PAY for a scammer to say "HELLO this is blah blah blah, who am I speaking with?" while I laugh.
Sassie 2012-11-02 16:27:34 Unknown
a recorded call, not worth the time, please do not call, will always hang up
Davey Diamond 2012-10-30 22:44:32 Unknown
Also, I run them off with fake Chinese language! They keep asking what?? And I repeat the gibberish. They take me off their call list after that. It works! My sister in law is Filipino, she gets such a laugh from my fake Asian language. I told her I just imitate a bunch of pots and pans thrown down a stairway and throw in a balloon squeak or two! haha

Yep telemarketer!
Last Laugh 2012-10-24 18:41:22 Unknown
Every time they call, I take the time to press 1 and let them go thru their speech. If I do not have the time, I press 1 and put the line on hold or speaker. Saying "hello, is anyone there?" 1,000 times a day will cost them.
That costs them MONEY!
If no one pays their extortion fee and costs them money, they will eventually stop.
KEEP THEM ON THE LINE AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

You would think, that after calling me multiple times a day for weeks now that if I was at all concerned about my google crap that I would have spoken with your rep. Removing my phone number from the list only incites another number from another marketing firm claiming to be google to call spewing the same crap. My web site is just where I want it and just how I want it! Then citi someone calls.....all I did was correct the address they had wrong. I don't want to talk to anyone, if I did I would have called myself. Then AMEX calls with a recorded "important message for the business owner".....a few minutes later a live AMEX person wanting to speak with the business owner about an important message. The same thing they called about yesterday and the day before. Is this the plan for more jobs? LOL....I need to hire someone just to deal with this stuff so my customers can get thru.
I hear that the Federal Trade Commission is offering $50,000 to anyone who can come up with a system to refuse these calls without bothering the people at the telephone number. Gosh, I hope someone comes up with something soon! And...thanks for letting me vent! Have a great day!!!

Robo call scam that make you think the call is from Google but it is really just a scam to get you to sign up with an unknown company that submits your data to Google. You can submit your own website to Goggle for free.
ANY SO-CALLED COMPANY THAT HIDES THEIR IDENTITY AND DISRESPECTS THE LAW BY VIOLATING THE DO NOT CALL LIST ARE CROOKED THIEVES.
DaveK 2012-09-19 15:50:30 Telemarketer
That isn't Google robo calling. We are getting calls every day from a company claiming to be google and asking you to "press 1 to update your listing" and if you do they are trying to sell you placement on the front page of Google and other search engines. They won't tell you their company name but since we have received over 200 calls from these idiots even after informing them we are on the national do not call list and their own list they still call each and every day.
The company turns out to be 29 Prime in Irvine owned by Russell Wallace. They are a scam and have hundreds of different business names and they are listed on every complaint site for damaging businesses rankings, ripping them off, and annoying them with calls. A bunch of their site names and phone numbers have been found at http://beware29prime.wordpress.com or you can just google their own name "29 Prime" or "29 Prime Scam" "russell wallace" etc
REALLY ANNOYING! The robocalls and harassment are relentless. I have had these employees get so rude and have asked to speak to management, ownership, anyone that could please get my name off of their robo call list and some say they will and hang up, others hang up, and some have actually laughed about it and told me if I paid for their service it would stop!
I WILL NOT PAY TO GET OFF OF YOUR LIST! That site above had links on places to complain to so I filed complaints with all the places they had listed. I hope to have this stop soon!

THE PHONE NUMBER THEY CALL FROM IS 253-382-9041 !!! DISGUSTING
patricia 2012-09-04 22:38:58 Unknown
I received a call from 2533829041. I am on the do-not-call list and should not receive telemarketing calls. This is an illegal call and the company has a long standing reputation of refuting the law. Why can't they be stopped?
DG 2012-08-23 16:37:01 Telemarketer
This scammer will not stop calling. Luckily I have callclerk that hangs up on them before my phone even rings.
Jim 2012-08-10 21:32:02 Telemarketer
Hangs up when trying to pick up. Called back recording says marketing call, if you want to remove your name press?? I wouldn't dare do that as this will put us on top caller list, I know. I am on donot call list, I will report
SuperMonkeyCube 2012-08-06 17:56:41 Telemarketer
Caller ID reads 'Local Placement', machine dialed call that says "Please press 1 to update your free internet listing."
Monkey 2012-08-03 16:31:31 Unknown
I get calls from this #. No one on the line. It interrupts my work process.
rtrip 2012-08-02 21:01:42 Unknown
Exactly right! Don't answer calls that you don't recognize. They are just surfing for a good telephone number. I don't know why people feel compelled to answer the telephone just because it rings!! If it is an important call the person will leave a message.

I have also pressed one to be removed, and every other number in an attempt to reach a live rep, but it just hangs up if you press anything but 1. No way to reach a person, no person ever on the line when they call...just an irritant to deal with at least twice a week (We have 5 numbers routed into our office). I'm off to the FCC website to report them!

Thanx for the info about Russell Wallace and 29Prime. I checked Russell Wallace's facebook page. What an arrogant scary piece of crap he is. What's the front page photo about? (him leading a small child by the hand into a building). Is he advertising that he's a pedophile?

Correct, the FTC Do Not Call regulations do not apply to business telephones. However, as far as I know, computerized robo-calls are illegal across the board - can't be sent to residences or businesses. Futhermore, these jerk-offs are shotgun calling: calling both business and residential phones. Someone ought to pay them a visit at their company "headquarters" (probably an overflowing porta-pottie) at 2233 West Balboa Blvd #115, Newport Beach CA 92663 and personally impress on them that their criminal behavior is not going to be tolerated anymore.

the only solution is a boat horn... those cans of compressed air with a horn attached (get them at any boating supply store). I have them at all company phones that get incoming calls, and we had a training session on dealing with these scam calls (they're really out of control and waste so much employee time). If it's a scam call, selected employees are instructed to blast the a-holes with the air horn.... it really, really, really pisses them off - but it's effective. Deaf a-holes can't use the telephone very well.

The calls are coming from telephone boiler rooms set up by 29 Prime: The latest telemarketing scam devised by Russell Wallace. He's previously setup and operated "Reliable Finance", "Reliable Listings", "Your Local Merchant", "iLocalSEM" and a bunch of other fly-by-night (literally) mortgage financing, marketing, and search engine optimization telemarketing scams. He has a well-documented history of packing up his companies in the middle of the night and leaving his employees unpaid, and his customers without the services they already paid for.
Russell Wallace: One delusional ego-maniac. Search "russell wallace" + "entrepreneur" to see the full extent of his delusions. He's a low-life sewer rat (has a $ 100 bill tattooed on his arm), but portrays himself on his website and on Facebook as an "entrepreneur", "CEO", "business innovator", "motivational speaker""author", and "teacher".
No legitimate company hides behind spoofed names ("local placement"; "Google 411"; "Google Inc"; "local web") and bogus telephone numbers, or registers their physical location to a mail drop. Legitimate companies don't cold-call people from stale lists, and then get rude and threatening when they say "no, not interested" or "don't call here again".

Step #3 is exactly what I do, and thank goodness for this website with its instantaneous search results!
So for me, when my phone rings, I look at the caller ID (this time only the number came up), immediately go to my browser (thankfully I was online), hit a keyboard shortcut for this site, then start typing the number. Press Enter, glance at the various comments, then I pick up the phone and hang up immediately! They don't even get to hear my voice announcement! LOL

As far as the "Authorities" are concerned, this is Free Enterprise & these places have a right to do business.
Many of these call centers are out-of-country (listen to the accent, ask where the caller is At). They ignore the Do Not Call List regulations.
If you can, block the call or just let it go to voicemail.
