I never answer my phone unless its a # I recognize. This one came up with the name PO America, so I let it go to voicemail. Someone queried "hello?" a few times then hung up. Next time they'll hear my iphone's screaming woman ringtone, at full volume,

I get calls from this number several times a day but I don't answer.  I have heard before that companies use these "robo" dialers to call numbers to see when the phone is answered in order to know when someone is home to answer actually their call.  If I don't recognize a number, I don't answer it!!!

Called after 9 pm...No response on other side. What up with that?

Does anyone believe the "do not call list" works???

This number phoned 2x without saying anything.  I am registered on the do not call list.

Called twice in 2 minutes and no one spoke.

Called me and no reply when I answered, called me again minutes later, no response then either.

Also got a call - Thursday 5PM EST. Luckily I'm using GV so I can just block them.

Called all of our business lines, no-one there on the line, dead silence not even a dial tone when we answer.  What a bunch of wasted time, including our time to write this.

Caller ID shows PO AMERICA all in capital letters. We all know what P.O. stands for we are P.O. about these nuisance calls.

Just received a recorded phone message to participate in a brief political opinion poll. Once completed, I was promised a short cruise from Florida to Grand Bahama Island. There were 3 simple questions, not typical of real polling questionnaires. After the poll a cruise representative told me about the cruise and asked me to pay the port tax now, just $59/person. This is all there is! There is no cruise, just a scam to take $118 from you today. - Don't fall for this. It is a scam.

two calls in 2 minutes

No one there.  I called back & hit the opt out.  We'll see.  Said it was a political survey. & my number would be permanently removed from their list.  They call my prepaid cell phone.

Same here as well! Got this call 20 minutes ago, no response when I answered.

Unwanted number received on cell phone. I am on the do not call list.  Of course they wouldn't speak when I answered the phone.

got a call from this number this morning.  did not answer.  they did not leave a msg.  I have been getting a lot of calls ever since I registered on the do not call list.  strange.

4-26-12, got a call from this number, left me no message. Called back, message said "This is Ann, with Political Opinions of America. You were called to participate in a survey, and now the survey time has expired".

4.26.2012 received call from 253.382.9096 number went to voicemail...just silence!

Got a call on my not listed, do not call line in Akron, Ohio.
1:15pm no message.

Received back to back calls from this number at 10am, 4/26/2012.  Calls were made to my work number (international corporation) in SF Bay area.  Caller didn't leave a message either time.

Got a call on my land line in CA.  9:47 am on 4/26/12.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I too am on the DO NOT CALL registry.

rejected call when number came up, then called back 3 more times-all rejected and no voice mail left. Called number, political opinion poll-gave option to be removed from calling list by pressing 1-hopefully works.

Got a call on my cell phone at 10:20 am...didn't answer.  Also on DO NOT CALL registry....I hate these idiots!
