This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I have been receiveing several phone calls from this number at my place of employment asking to speak to one of the supervisors and I tell thim there is no personal calls allowed and they guy James Carner tells me he is going to continue to call all he wants till he speaks to the person. He refused to give his number

This number called me at work and when I told him to quit calling me at my place of employment he told me I had 15 minutes to call him back or he was going to call me over 1000 times a day. He called 3 times in a row and spoke to various coworkers. He also left a message on my voicemail of my cell phone saying he was a police officer and coming to arrest me. I am filing a report with the local police department. He is stupid and doesnt know that my husband is a cop! LOL

The caller today called me five times within a 15 min. period and told me that there was a complaint against my name and told me that I was going to be arrested and and that I need to pay them for a payday loan that I never recieved or applied for. I told him that he needed to quit calling me and he said he would call me a thousand times if he choose to do so. I told him he was a dumb SOB and he then called me a mother f**ker and told me he was coming to my home. I have contacted my local police and they have told me to close bank accounts and everything as well. I was so fed up with these dumb a** Indians calling me and not knowing how to speak English that it made me sick today.

They called at first saying that I owed them money, two weeks ago,  today he tried to diguise his voice saying he was with local policeman that I committed fraud.

Called today same people that have been calling for months.... They claim to be from the the California Sherifs dept.  and when I was asked what county they could not tell me.  Like the whole state has only 1 dept.   LOL.  People make me sick Do not give then any money.  Oh yeah when does and Indian have an name like Dan Smith.   SO make up....

This company is a FRAUD. They speak with Indian accent and say they are a sheriff;s deputy. They are not. They prey on people who have applied for payday loans at some time. Do not give them MONEY. They called said they were going to our home to put my hubby in jail. I called local police department (we are a small town) they are investigating it also due to someone else in town getting calls too. Don't be intidimated by them stand strong and tell them to go to you know where. Best of luck to everyone.

They also said in the message that I would be arrested at my home or place of work. Impersonating a police officer is highly illegal

I got a call from someone saying there was a drug complaint against me and that I needed to call this number back. I called the number back and it was someone who was throwing their voice acting like they couldn't hear me. Guys, this is a federal offense. These people can be put away for life for doing things like this.

They keep calling me and its fake and really annoying

called me again today!! 3 times in the last 30 minutes. I am not answering it because I can't understand him and I know it is a scam. The other day he misread his script and ended up hanging up and not finishing after the first couple of sentences.l wish they would get the point and quit bugging me, it is just unnerving!!

Tried telling me I'm Kim somebody & someone has pursued whatever against me & i need to contact so & so before whatever. I was fuming & then they say we're going to trace the number & i'm like you have the wrong number theres no kimberly here & then he says "Are you sure you're not kimberly?" ughh. These people need to be stopped. I have a prepaid cell-phone how are telemarketers & scammers getting it this has never happened.

This number called me today and said he was from the Pennsylvania police dept. ,and insisted they are the pa policeand I said. Pa police in compton California . He said yes why not ? Then was getting mad every time he asked my name when I told him if he was the police he would know my name ! He hung up  on me

Called several times threatening to put me in jail. His name is Deputy Sam Walker today, it was Paul white the other day. There is now an affidavit he says against my name and they are coming to arrest me. it is a hoax, they need to supply you with legal paper work before they can do anything.

Calls several timed a day threating to put me in jail if I don't pay back a payday loan from last year that was paid on full to net cash...his name is Alex Johnson
