Usual thing...different number within 24hrs.....previous caller did not display number. Indian/Pakistani accents calling about
computer issue. this call came from Auburn , WA . They use threatening scare tactics within the 2 seconds they are on the phone before getting cut off .

Received a call from this guy name Bill Durner suggesting that my computer was infected and he wanted me to go to my computer and give him my license number.  He said that my information was all over the internet.  I told my daughter about this and she phoned the guy back and he says he's with WIN support.  He initially told me he was with Microsoft Windows tech support.  By the way the my caller ID showed this phone number: 415-364-1111 which was a disconnected number.

Take your computer to a reputable local computer repair place and have them undo the damage the caller did.  

Microsoft does not monitor computers.  They do not call.  Anyone calling you claiming to be from Windows or Microsoft is lying.

Received call from this number: 253-397-1687. Said he was from Windows Technical Support and that my pc was hacked into and had numerous viruses. Said that there were reports sent to Windows.
I believed him and let him run my pc; tried to show me how infected my pc was. At the end of all this he was trying to sell me a product to clean up my pc.
I did not really have problems with pc until after this incident; now things are going wrong and I think this person did something to my pc.
I feel really stupid for believing this person (call sounded like it originated in India, lots of background talking).
Please help.

I received a call from India stating they were "Win Support" for Microsoft and my computer was being overloaded with viruses that were downloading without my knowlege.  They could tell this through the Windows 'Global Server".  What a crock.  Thanks anyway, "Carol" from Windows.

Good try "Raj". But you need more practice. Keep up with the studying. Maybe one day you'll make it into the real world of business. 'Til then..you're just a lying, scamming CHEAT!

Hi guys i think you all are wrong,cause I have receive a phone call but they didn't took any money from my end,and also tell you that they fix my computer,whenever I log on my Dell computer it's shown some booting problems. I am really feel good they solve my all problems. And they also told me that Microsoft never call any customer of windows. They are providing service of windows operating system. I damn sure they all good guys who helped me at all.

Definitely a scam, got some money from my Dad, also named "Joe".

Caller from this number said he was with Windows Technical Support and was calling about a problem with my computer putting out error messsges.
