To reactivate call urgent at 253-449-8258."  I called from my office phone. It was a weird synthesized voice that was messed up throughout the recording. I do not have and never have had any cards with NWGACU. BEWARE!

I did submit a resume on Craigslist and got the email that was posted above. I am pretty disparate for work as I am a self employed mortgage officer suffering through the mortgage crisis. I am near rock bottom, and I opened the attached tests to complete. I am praying to God that I did not release some spyware on to my computer. I can't afford that kind of mess. I did sign up with Meet Me Now, which I am going to cancel as my call to Mary went unreturned and I just found this thread. I hope their is justice for this kind of exploitation.

I just recieved this same email yesterday. I had sent a email questioning their 'job offer' and they sent me this same email. I had the same question "I didn't post a resume..how come they reviewed it??" I called this morning.. no answer. Also sent two reply emails asking questions. Have not recieved anything as of right now. However, I do have a friend who lives in Canada who does a work at home job very similiar to this kind of job. She had to go through training and pay for it herself. But she is making the best money she's ever made in her life. So, I'm going to send her a copy of this email and see if she has heard of this company before. Also this 'trial webex' they ask for your credit card. 14 day trial..after that is 39 or 49 dollars a month to keep it. This is similiar to my friends work at home job. She has to pay a monthly fee for software, etc. But she makes GOOD MONEY  and its not a scam. So, I'm going to pursue as far as I can and get answers that satisfy.. before I do anythign else.  Keep you posted.

This is a scam because the email reads: You are receiving this email from me because your resume hasbeen reviewed , accepted and you have been selected as apossible candidate for the advertised position.

The only thing is, I never submitted my resume so how can they have reviewed and accepted it?

These scammers are so annoying!!!

This might be true. I posted a resume on Craig's List. I went to several ads. I have a work at home job, as well, and it's not a scam. They use webinar, it's the same program listed on this email. I agree the tests are odd, maybe it's to see if you can read. But trust me, Webinar is real. I called and left them a message this morning.

I to got the email...yet never submitted a resume, only asked for details.
Called sveral times with no response. So dicouraging to have to wade through this kind of junk while looking for real work. I see others got same message with different email addresses, links and slight difference in wording. The tests obviously have nothing to do with real skill or computer literacy. STAY AWAY unless you know how to catch this peron.

Apparently this is a spammer making lots of money! I did a of research and this is a fake job posting. The spammer needs to be put under investigation so anyone that knows how to do that should rightfully do so. This is unethical and wrong, feeding off people that are in need of work. Companies like meetmenow.webex.com need to pay attention to who they do business with, they're not marketers, they're spammers! Most likely the spammer is the owner of Profinsoft.com

Got the same email as everyone else and after an in depth scan of the two files they are just laymans tests for addresses and such, but the phone number is registered to a Focal Communications Corp of iowa, which as far as i can tell is a legitimate communications firm that trades on the international level. So it could be true or it could also be some sort of hoax as i believe it is but since the tests dont require any info i took them and returned them to sender to see what the outcome is. I didnt sign up for the free webex meeting trial though because of course that required info. Hope this helps.

I left a message requesting a callback from this phone number on 8-25-08, still no response.  I think "M" called it, but I don't know if they are phishing for data from our resumes', or trying to get us to load malware from the zip file containing "tests".

This is my reply to the email DC sent me...her original email is below it.  I cannot find a website for them, a real phone number, or anything related to them...I feel they are a scam trying to get addresses and resumes.

Mary,

Forgive my skepticism, but there are a few red flags with your email and offer.

First, your email addresses do not match and are spelled incorrectly.  I find it hard to believe that a legitimate company would allow this.

Second, to have requested people with excellent skills in computers and attention to detail, you have failed to capitalize letters, and use correct punctuation and spelling.

Now, as I said, this could be all a misfortune, but I need to see a website that is real, or possibly speak to you on the phone, as I only work for legitimate companies.

Do you have any reply to this, or should I just move on and flag the listing and post this email on Craigslist?
