He's at it again. Just got a text from 281-301-5318 asking if my ring was still available. I replied yes; but only to those who pay cash; because I refuse paypal transactions due to too many scammers out there. Lol...no response as of yet....waiting patiently.

I'm getting the same thing from jim_rebecca@aol.com and a phone number of (614) 407-4782 on the sale of my BMW X5. How do we stop these thieves?

Wow i just had the same exact conversation! unfortunately I continued dialogue with the person but when i was about to go through with it i felt very uncomfortable. So I did my research and foudn tons of info on this. he told me at first his name was jim rebecca only texting me from thsi number (614) 407-4782. when i called him out for being a fraud the person claimed to be an "honarable woman" then i clearly knew it was a scam. Thanks for all the info guys and keep this idiot in check.

Thank you all for posting the above because today I received a text from the Virginia number listed above:  540-929-0197, ( what I thought was a potential buyer for the item I advertised.)  The first text received was verifying the asking price.  I wrote back and said yes it was and to call if interested.

The 2nd email he/she wrote states, "okay thanks am at work right now.  Whats your last asking price for it, where you located whats full name. i would need you to get back to me with some pics of it at jim_rebecca@aol.com.  My name is Jim rebecca.  Do you have a verified paypal account?  Please get back to me as soon as possible"
I am not replying back.  I think they want me to use their email for some reason.

This guy tried again-I believe from this reported number and also 540-929-0197. Kind of ironic that he uses "noble life 01" as an email. Noble is the last thing this dirt bag is. The second number he calls from is a Virginia number.

Same phone # texted me the same story.His name was Tom. Had another similar text, both wanted to pay via paypal, would buy sight unseen and were buying it as a surprise for cousin and the other a surprise for husband. I did call this # back and he answered. He has very broken English but was adamant about the purchase. I texted him after we hung up and advised him we had a cash buyer. SCAMMERS!!!! UUGGHH!

seems the only responses you get lately from craigslist are from these scam artists.  Pretty much told this guy he needs to get a new game; this one's been played out!

Well apparently he's getting braver! Same story but he actually called me! When I told him no paypal he tried everything he could do to get me to change my mind! Crook!

Be careful if doing business with the owner of this phone number. He (identified himself as Tom) is running a craigslist/paypal.  He sends emails (fake) from PayPal saying shipping funds must be sent by the seller before PayPal can fund the full amount of the purchase. PayPal has verified this is a scam and a common one. It must be because we had 3 buyers doing the same thing in one day. Anyway, all we have is the phone number he used to contact us with and it is 253-693-8345
