This person, same think Indian accent, calls the number here at the corporation I work at. He just called again with some BS name saying he was with the US Crime something another and asked for someone who does not work here. Then he cusses at me and tells me I am lying. Then he asks to speak to my mother. I said that he had reached a corporation and obviously she was not here where I worked. He proceeded to tell me she was there speaking to him......here is the kicker.....my mother has been dead for almost 4 years now. The number showed up on caller ID as 253-802-0108 but when I asked him his phone number it was 206-801-5444.

This is a scam. There is a wealth of info on this site regarding the Indian Payday Loan Scam where you are called claiming you owe money when you really don't. Check the forum and look for a topic called "Fake Payday Loan Collection Scams". Ive went thru this scam several times since I listed my phone number on Facebook (I cant prove that there's a correlation, but I did notice it) and the ONLY way I was ever able to get them to quit calling me was to change my phone number. If they had checking account numbers or anything like that, you might want to change those as well...the bank will do it for you if you tell them you think you are being scammed. Hope this info helps.

Had the same thing happen to me! male voice heavy thick accent (India) who had my birth date and SSN number. He kept on telling me he was a police man and then would use a name like Sean Mullins. Creepy!
