This is the Arc of Washington. It is a good and legitimate place to make donations. They will come to you and leave a tax receipt too.

arc of washington is an agency that collects things (clothing etc) for homeless individuals. They contact neighborhoods to have you leave donations on the porch and they will pick it up.
They are an honest company and I have donated before.
