I've been getting this call everyday except today 10/17/08.  The call comes exactly at 9:00am and only rings once.  When I call it back, it sounds like a fax machine would sound, lots of weird sounds.

This number has been calling me off and on for a couple of weeks. I don't answer "unavailable" numbers. Anybody else got a call from them?

Got a call saying the caller was from duro coat,the cement coating and sealing company. Bought the product assuming it was the duro coat advertised. product was delivered with the name durocoat on the label. It was a sham outfit out of Lindhurst,NY. The product was useless and they double billed me for $123.20. I contacted my credit card company and received a phone number of the billing company. They are giving me the run around about the double billing and their useless product. This is definitely a scam operation with a very close name to the genuine dura coat. Beware of this scam out of NY.

Yes, I have received numerous calls from this number as well.  Many hang-ups, but also representatives saying they are selling "Duracoat" products. However, I have found out this weekend that it is a scam and the number they are using is a number that is supposedly a dial-up number.  There has been another blog started on the site belwo for you to view other individuals experiences & information related to this number.

UPDATE- I have received two more calls this weekend from "Duracoat" representatives using the same number.  I e-mailed Duracoat and found out the calls we are receiving are not legit & I am attaching their response below.  In addition, I called one of the internet carriers that has 254-503-0013 listed & they said it must be a scammer re-routing their number somehow & using the dial-up number to call individuals.  The internet provider was going to make a call to Grande Communications to inform them of the misuse.  This is the e-mail from Duracoat:

We are a paint manufacturer that  sells only to approved industrial coaters; never to the general public and certainly not through direct mailing.  Our corporate  headquarters is located in Riverside, CA with another plant in Huntsville, AL.  The misconception comes when people search the internet for ?Duracoat? ? our legal name is Dura Coat Products, Inc.  

If one went to our website, http://www.duracoat.us/main and looked on the FAQ?s, one would noticed #2 deals with the concrete covering issue.

Thanks for letting us know. This is something we?ve been dealing with for years. If they represented themselves as ?Dura Coat Products, Inc.? then we would have a legal issue. Until then, all we can do is explain to the emails and phone calls we get that it?s not us.

I have the same sitch as Lori. Asked for info years ago and started getting called this past week. Also have asked to be removed. The last guy didn't even get a word in before I asked for a supervisor. Didn't get one, but restated my disires and told them I would be contacting my Attorney General.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one having problems with this phone number calling.  When I Googled the number, these are the sites that has the number listed on as some sort of dial-up number for internet service  out of Meridian, TX. Strange!  What is Duracoat?

These people are calling for a product called Duracoat.  We requested info to be mailed 3 years ago.  No info ever sent out.  Started getting calls this week.  Husband said we are no longer interested, take us off your list, sevearl times to several people.  We have had nine calls from them in 5 days (Oct 13-17th).  When we called the number back, it dials to a fax machine.  The listing on caller ID states the location of the call is coming from Woodway, Tx.

I have also had problems with this number calling my house phone throughout this whole week.  Every night, this number keeps dialing my home phone between 6:30-9:00 at least one-two times and then will hang up after about 5 seconds.  Tonight, when the phone number called, a lady asked for "Marsha" (My name is "Marisa") & then hung up when my boyfriend gave me the phone & I answered.  I Googled the number (254-503-0013) and found several sites that look like they use the number as a dial-up number- Out of Cameron, TX?
