We have a 37.8 minute call on our 800 number at 5:34am.  Our office is not open at that time.

^This Asshat is calling my 800 line (cost per minute) and leaving long blank messages in the middle of the night

Left a 6 and a half minute blank message at 2am

Also a late night no-one-there call, and I have an 800 number forwarding to my landline.

This number called my 800 number as well, just silence when I pick up. I would have to agree it's likely it's various phone companies trying to run up our bills for our 800 numbers. I've been getting calls like these from different numbers all the time for the past few months.

Alabama again

I have a 1800 line with Ringcentral.  They give me excellent service and I doubt they are responsible.  But I also got this 256-414-4437 calling me

When I answered, dead silence for a few minute.  I blocked this number in my phone system

Any chance you also using Tollfreeforwarding service?
I called them about these calls which are 5 min long and all they suggested was to change my number.

This number called me at 12:30am. Picked it up and dead silence. Called the phone company and they said it was from Alabama. This is the 5th call I have received in the past 12 hours!

Call came to my toll free number after hours, they left no message.  I called the number back the next day, and no answer.  I suspect this may be a call from my 800 service provider (Kall8) to run up my bill...  I have had several similar calls recently all from the southeastern USA... This one from Alabama.

My phone rang at 2:22 am. today. I picked up on the first ring and the it was dead silence. I hung up and switched phones. I called back the number and it said it was out of order.
