I got a call from 256-546-4184. The man on the other end asked to speak to Johnnie. When I told him he had the wrong number he hung up on me. We have had this phone number for over 5 years and have received repeated calls from rude bill collectors for "Johnnie". I suspect Johnnie had this number before we did and that leads me to believe that that this caller is one of those companies who try to collect old debts.

I got the same phone call as everyone else on this board. The only difference is I live in Texas. I tried calling the number back but also go mail box full. If someone knows anything please post.

I got a call from this number today and they asked for me by name and when I said yes they hung up.

Got the same call just a few minutes ago.  Man asked for my husband by his first name.  Husband uses his middle name.  When I said "not at the moment" when asked if he was hear, the man hung up on me in mid-sentence.  I've done the same as the rest of you and found "Stephanie Hardin" as the user of the telephone line.  My suggestion to all of you is to sign up on the Do Not Call registry.  But, if this is a charity (hah!) calling, it won't stop those calls.  If it's not a charity, they need to be reported.

I HAVE GOTTEN MORE THAN ONE OR TWO CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER BUT NO ONE EVER SAYS ANYTHING WHEN I  ANSWER.

received a call from 256-546-4184 , a male asking for husband by formal name, when told he was sleeping, they hungup. I just called the # back and the mailbox is "full".  The call is coming from Stephanie Hardin in Gadsden AL. I suspect they are running a mom & pop collection agency. Surely they are in the handbasket next to the IRS workers on their way to hell : )

256-546-4184 called.  A man asked for DH by formal name.  When I said, "he's not in, may I take a message?" He hung up.  
I normally wouldn't have answered because of the Out of Area message, but I was expecting a call from that area code, so answered.

Why don't you use call block?  It's easy and even if you don't have that feature, you usually can do it for a small one-time fee.

Have any of you had checkbooks or debit cards stolen or missing? I'm pretty sure these jokers are not bill collectors. They called and asked my daughter for me by name today. When she told them I wasn't here they asked for dad, didn't ask for him by name. I had a debit card go missing about a month ago. And I swear I have heard the Hardin name on the Valley's most wanted on the 10:00 news. I may be wrong. But "god rest their souls" if they try to stop by here uninvited.

MY MOTHER RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEY ASKED FOR MR. MELVIN, WHEN THE FEMALE WAS TOLD HE WAS DECEASED, SHE THEN ASKED FOR ME BY NAME (WHICH IS MY MAIDEN NAME-I'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR ALMOST 15 YRS)...WHEN I TRIED TO CALL BACK, I GOT THE , MAILBOX FULL MESSAGE AS WELL...THIS WAS JUST WEIRD

Recieved a call from 256-546-4184.  Only rang twice and hung up.  No name on caller ID.

Caller coughed into the phone when I answered it and hung up!

The Hardins probably have nothing at all to do with this. Some scammers have likely spoofed their number without their knowledge. My call was one of those "support the Alabama state police" scams.

guess these people are up to it again..,  this is the third or fourth day in a row i have gotten a call from 256-546-4184..  out of area .  when you call it back it rings once or twice and then goes to voice mail and says voice box full

Got a call from this number today.  I no longer answer calls from numbers I don't recognize so can't add anything useful.  I get some sort of call from strange numbers almost every day.

I drove by the address associated with this number. It seems to be a crack-house; with blacked-out windows, boarded-up doors. And of course, graffiti on the stop sign.

i got the same call i wasn't at home and they have called everyday for two weeks and i live in gadsden so i called it back and it said mailbox was full when i used my phone book that has the reserve number look up by the phone numbers not the name the number isn't listed in the phone book. dunno but i am tired of them calling everyday even if i am not home when they call i would love to be home one day so i can cuss them out for calling so much with no way to call them back.

sorry i was wrong the number belongs to a stephanie hardin at 119 s. franklin st gadsden,al which is a residental house and i am not sure what is going on if she is calling all these people or if her phone was disconected and a business has the number now but i can not for the life of me figure out what a residental lady is calling everyone and why her mailbox would be full i use to deliver pizza and i have delivered many times to that house but i can not figure this one out i am gonna try going by there and seeing if that is still her number or what

guys if you have a number chowing wirless caller with the number 256-505-9736 i think it is the same people with a cell phone cause it does the same thing the phone number 256-546-4184 does ????fishy to me

Whoever this 256-546-4184 number belongs to is harrassing my mother and causing us, her family concern.  I am going to report this number to the authorities to see if anything can be done.  I tried to call it and I also got the full mailbox message.  I can't imagine anyone having nothing else to do and to be so immature to be making these kinds of calls.  I think it takes a coward to do this and to hide behind a phone number.  I pray that what you reap, you will sow and that it is multiplied a thousand fold.  God help you.
