My case is the same as most others; they call- nobody is on the other end- ..... sounds like you can hear someone, but no one speaks. The numbers is registered to: Windstream Communications, Landline in Huntsville, AL.
It seems strange that of all the complaints placed, there is almost never anyone on the other end. This would seem to be counter-productive for a telemarketer. It's almost as if this call is to see if anyone is at "HOME"....!  ???

Just called stating he was calling from Huntsville Fire Co for the Huntsville Firefighters. I said I donate to my volunteer firefighters in my area directly and he hung up.

I'm tired of being called by this number. They call every couple days. Does anyone know who is the caller?

EVERY DAMN NIGHT IM SICK OF THIS CRAP!! Today they called TWICE!!

I get calls every morning and every night (around 9pm) from 256-970-1974. I don't know who is calling but wish they would stop. I have registered with DNC, but still receive telemarketing calls.

Just called didn't leave a message. The answering machine has it as unavailable. The phone number is 256-970-1974. I have it down in my book from past numbers as Madison Co. fire fighter scam. I now donate directly to the local fire fighters in person.

Your caller does not maintain this site or this web page. You will not get compliance with your orders until you deliver them DIRECTLY to your caller. It is unwise to publish a phone number you meant to protect in an open forum where any data harvester and scammer can find it.

They keep calling me, usually when I'm not home, and never leave a message.  I just got a call from them, and the guy asked for me by my first name, and I asked him what the street address was where he was calling from, and he said 8368 South Memorial Parkway, Huntsville.   I googled it, but the google map view of it makes it appear to be a bogus address.

I have been getting calls from this number for weeks, usually early to late evening.  Never leave a message and mailbox is full.

Got a call  a while ago from a guy who said he was with the Madison County Firefighters.  I told him to stop calling us and that I didn't believe the money went to the firefighters.  I think is a scam and they call regularly from different numbers.  I can't find any reference online to an organization for Madison County Firefighters.

looks like they are trying to disguise who they are so you will answer the phone instead of displaying their name.

Called, left no message.  Called back and no one picked up on the other end.

Called my house, didn't answer and the didn't leave message! I HATE HATE HATE telemarketers and spam calling I get more calls from them then I do people I knew, it should be illegal.

Same for me, never anyone there when I answer.

These incredible jerkos keep calling, never leaving a message & letting their mailbox full ????? Sounds like some scam or unwanted ad or political idiots trying to tell ME who to elect ! Because I have a driver's lic., and a cell DOESN'T MEAN I'm a US citizen. Where I come from these ARE NOT requists for a voter's lic. !!!!!!!!!!

Received call at 1:40 pm on October 31, 2011.  I let my answering machine get it, and they hung up.  I will not be calling back.  If they cannot leave a message, I will not return their call!

someone collecting donations for the Firefighters.

Received calls on 2 of my phone lines at the same time.  No one there when answered.  Called back and message said mailbox was full.
