These are scam calls trying to get your credit card info. They tell you that you won something and they need your credit card to hold the prize or whatever there offering. There from Mozambique so reporting them to the police gets you nowhere because there out of country. Just let it ring or hang up on them as long as you don't give them any info about you or your credit card info then you have nothing to worry about. Just answering the phone won't do anything or charge you anything so your safe if you answered. Don't call them back either because they can charge your bill if you call them. Here in Florida we get them a lot because of the number of seniors who live here. Just remember, NEVER GIVE OUT ANY INFO OVER THE PHONE and YOUR GRANDSON ISN'T IN JAIL AND YOU NEED TO SEND MONEY. That's another famous one down here. If you get a call that your grandson is in jail, call the parent first, do not send money to someone who's bailing him out. There's a lot of scams out there just be careful and never give out info. I let my phone ring and only answer people I know. If I don't know the number on the caller ID I let it go to the answering machine. If it's important they will leave a message. If I don't know them or the message sounds fishy, I just erase it.

James called from the US Federal Government, although I thought he said garment and repeated that back to him and he said that was right.

Some lady just called me from this number saying she was from the national grants department but her english was very broken and hard to understand. THese guys are scammers

I received this phone # to call back for a cruise quote.
Apparently they were on line, got onto my website, and are using this phone #. This is not a US phone #. I sue hope they don't call me using my phone # from my website.

This guy called me too - he had my name, address, and phone number, and asked for my birthday.  He also told me I had $7000 from the federal government from some kind of tax payback.  When I wouldn't give him my birthday, he called back 9 times (but I didn't respond).  He also left a weird voicemail!  Should I be scared?

Some man called me. He had arab accent. Said "I am the U.S. Government calling about your claim".
