This phone number 513-573-8031, 513-754-9863 saying Macies Bloomies call 2-3x a day, doesnt leave a message, calls as late as 8:30pm and even on Sundays. Glad to know it's a scam

They call me constantly then hang up.
So I called them back to get a woman with a French? accent telling me she was a macy rep and could she have my card number.  I don't have a macy account. ..
I hung up but I may call her back at dinner time. ..

just saw this number ringing on my work line, didn't pick it up.  they left no voicemail either.  annoying!  notice the last post on this number was in 2008!

Keeps calling daily. No response when call is answered. Frustrating

They're the in house collections at Macy's but they are in violation of the fair debt collection practices act if they harrass you. You can easily reprot them to the FTC online. Takes just a few min. Highly recommend u do. With such a large company, unless the gov forces them to, they won't change their model

How do I stop these calls?

Hello! Just wondering who keeps calling on this number. . . . Never leaves a message. . . has been calling almost 1 month now. . . . . . . morning, noon and night!!!!!

It is a scam. Just called Macys and everything is fine with my account. it is annoying,

numerous calls daily!! Answered one, no one there! Spam or harassment get them disconnected now!!!!

This IS a call from Macys credit department..

I have made a late payment and they have caled as many as 22 times in one day.
They are even MORE rude and obnoxious than Portfolio Recovery... And I didnt think that was possible...

they call 5 times a day ,all days of the week// Itried a few things but not working..next step is to change my number

I got a phone call from this number 7 days a week, 5 times a day. He called and said I owed $75 on my card and I could make the payment quickly and easily over the phone using a debit or credit card. I was in a very BAD mood that day and had had it with this guy. I said, "well thank you for calling me on my friend's 21st birthday. We're at dinner right now. And you've called everyday for 2 weeks straight. So f*ck You for that. You're f*ckin high if you think I'm gonna give you my card over the phone. And actually my bill isn't due until July 1st so you can f*ck off and stop calling me." I haven't received a phone call for a week from him. :)

I called the number back, and they identified themselves as "credit card services for macys."


Apparently they were looking for somebody else that mustve used my phone number or something.

Told him that person really doesnt live here nor do I even know them. Asked them to stop calling, guy said no problem. We'll see..

This is another 513 number that calls several times per day.  I don't pick this up either.  In combination with the other calls, it's annoying and nerve-wracking.

What will you do? Hunt them down?

Called the number and gave them my account number and my name.  They wanted last 4 digits of SSN or DOB I wouldn't give either one.  He then asked if someone uses the card I said "No" ; he did add this was a collection number.  I let him know that my balance is zero.  He replied to ignore the call.

I received several calls from this number as well.  I called back and spoke to a real person.  She asked for my name, number and then requested last 4 digits of SSN.  I explained that they called me they should have my information.  She went on to explain to give my birthdate instead to confirm who I was.  I didn't give that up either.  She did say I owned a Macy's account and I agreed.  Funny, they didn't ask for my account number to confirm who I was.  Anyway, my account balance was 0 and it had been for a few months.  She couldn't tell me anything so I hung up.

This number is not a scam.  It is a legitimate phone number for FDS Bank which is the bank that represents Macy's and Bloomingdale's credit accounts.  If you get a call from this number, it means that either your credit account is past due or that your phone number is on someone's credit account that is past due.  The best thing to do is to answer the phone and wait if that is what it asked and either pay your bill over the phone or explain to the rep that you're going to pay it or if it isn't your account, tell them they have the wrong phone number and they will remove it from the account. No scam invloved whatsoever.

5 to 6 calls per day.  No message is left. No company identification.  I demanded a letter with supervisor names company location, city and zip codes.  I will report harassing phone calls to the
Better Business Bureau.

I keep getting calls from this number, they don't say anything.. I have to hang up or they stay on the line.
I get calls weekly from them....

This number will not stop calling me! I don't have any balances!!! How do you make it stop. It is even bypassing my reject number setting on my android!!!

Patricia Elder is what she said her name was.  She only wanted to speak with my wife and said she had some personal business to discuss with her.

I received a phone call on Sunday asking for payment (overdue) for my Macy's credit card. I told them that the payment was scheduled with my bank account.
I do not understand why nobody, including Macy's financial office, can do anything about this kind of scam.
I am hesitating if I need to close my account with them.

I called him back and he answered. He said his name was Jake and he wanted the credit card number. He had an Indian or Pakastani accent.

This is probably the 5th or 6th time I've seen this number on my Caller ID when I've gotten home from work.  No message is ever left, but whomever it is calls several times a day.  I just received another call not even 5 minutes ago and this time answered--dead silence on the other end.  I said "okay...goodbye" and hung up.  Supposedly it's "Macy's" calling with some sort of scam (or so I've been told).  From here on, I'll continue to ignore it.

This phone number calls every hour on the hour M-F  they are an answering machine and this is harrassement
