Also asked about leaving legal papers. I told them I was not the person and this was not a contact number. I told them they were stupid for agreeing to previously remove my number and still calling. After my telling them they were under arrest they hung up.

They call and ask if someone will be available to receive legal documents for me from the sheriff.  When asked what it's about they tell me that a complaint has been filed against me.  Something about credit card fraud.  They will settle with me for a lesser amount if I give them my credit card # with one hour.  They can provide me with no information or proof.  I ask them to mail the information and give my address but never receive anything.  I wait for the sheriff and he never comes.  Kind of scarey because they have my SS# and DOB.  What can I do?

I have had this number call and say the same thing. I threathen to call my friends at the local new stations to do an expo on this number and the company and they hung up on me..

This number called my cell phone, they asked if I was available to accept legal documents on behalf of a Rashawn Shivers because they had received a complaint.  The number I have apparently belonged to that person and I still receive calls even though I have had the number for over 3 years.  I told them that I was not going to accept anything on behalf of this person.  They asked if I knew him because this is the number he provided to have someone accept legal documents, I explained that I do not know of this person and that this is my work number I've had for three years.  They hung up.

They called to ask if I was available for an appointment with a sheriff. They have received a complaint. This number is a scam. They are only trying to scare you out of your hard earned money. Do not give in. Tell them that you are recording the conversation, and will be reporting them to the attorney general's office. The bottom of the barrel scrum is what they are.
