caller called for the first time today.

umm I just got this number 261-494-9739 but the lady on the other end sounded asian definately foriegn and she said my car loan had been accepted...I have NEVER applied for a car loan...so when I tried to call back of course I get can not be called...then I called the operator and gave her the number for her to call it and she informed it is not a usa phone number..So I get on the net today and look up to see what country uses 261 as its country code and its Madagascar...off the coast of South Africa....but thats the only call I have gotton from this number..But now I am worried about my credit.. Which is kinda funny because I have really bad credit so Im like how the bleep did someone get a loan in my name???..Anyways still researching this will update this if I find out anymore...

who are these people???????

I am also getting calls from both numbers mentioned above the 261 and the 978 number. They call multiple times a day about 30 to 60 minutes apart. It is really annoying, as I can not call back, and when I answer there is nobody on the line.

I am getting phone calls in the middle of the nite (3:11 am and 4:30 am) from these two numbers:
261-494-9739 and 261-949-9473.
they leave no message and when I try to call them back, I always get a message saying;
"Your call cannot be completed as dialed." I try to dial the number very carefully over and over,
both numbers say the same thing.
I don't know how to make the phone calls stop.
It's very difficult to fall back asleep when woken by their calls in the middle of the nite!

I have figured out that I signed up for some deal somewhere and now am getting spam calls from both numbers mentioned here.  You can keep getting the numbers blocked, but they will probably just come up with another number.

I just got a call from this number 261-494-9739. It's really annoying and there is no one there when I answer. I'd like to know how to stop this?

I have no idea who this is but have been getting atleast 4 to 5 calls a day always the long pause and then beep beep beep what is strange is that at the same time my girl friends cell phone gets calls from a 978-570-2445 with the same thing happinging when she answers starting to get really annoying
