I Received a recorded message stating this is your last reminder, if you want to reduce your interest rate on you credit card(s), dial (9) to talk to a real person. This woman asked me if I was callling to reduce my credit card(s) interest and was there more than $5,000.00 balance.  I asked does that include all cards?  She hung-up.  That was the second time that it happened, the next time, the four letter words will flow from my mouth.  The phone # on my caller I. D. was 1-265-000-2899

I received a call from this number today and i am on the do not call registry. i will report it.

Got this call, no message left, no one on the other end.

they will not take your name off the list after you ask them too... these calls are a scam and when you speak with someone and ask to be removed they either hang up on you or argue with you and try to make it seem like you are stupid (one lady told me that she didnt understand why i was so upset because i called her and this was a dr.'s office - for dr. mohammad ali). these people will do anything to argue with you and are crazy. it is a scam. they make you think they are calling you from your credit card company. it is illegal for them not to display their correct name and number on the caller id.

we are a business in TN and they are ringing our phones off the hook. the bad part is that we have several lines!

This number calls us all the time, everytime they call I hit 9 to speak to operator... first time i asked to be removed from list i got a simple 'ok' and silence. i asked if she needed the number and she said yes. so i gave it to her. she then proceeded to ask for it backwards. i said "really, backwards?". she said yes so as soon as i started it she said nope, you dont even know your own f******* number!! i couldnt believe she said that.

called again a few minutes ago, and i asked the woman to remove me from her list and she kept saying "maam i dont know what youre talking about, you called me". "this is a dr.s office, you called me". i explained to her that i in fact did not call her and she called me. i repeated back to her the automated recording and said i hit 9 to speak to an operator and told her she was pretty much crazy and i knew she was lying. she kept saying she was at a drs office, so i asked the drs name and she came back with mohammed ali. i cant stand these people, they are harassers and i will be reporting them to whoever i need to. i hope everyone else does too... sometimes they hang up when you ask to be removed and others they will be very nice and say "yes i apologize for the inconvenience and have a good day".

These people are located in Malawi Africa I have gor the same credit spill back in November I pressed 9 and the man on the other end of the line ask me if i was calling Malawi, Like most of you I hope they rot in jail

THIS NUMBER HAS CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES. TODAY I DECIDED TO ANSWER FOR THE FIRST TIME AND PRESSED 9 AS REQUESTED. A LADY ASKED IF I WANTED TO LOWER MY INTEREST RATES. I SAID NO, I WOULD LIKE TO BE TAKEN OFF THE CALL LIST AND SHE SAID SARCASTICLY, SURE YOU WOULD AND HUNG UP.

They just called me and I pressed "9" to be directed to a human being.  A woman introduced herself as Amber and asked me if I wanted to take advantage of their low interest rate.  I asked to be removed and was hung up on!  I hope these people rot in hell!!

Answered phone, listened to pitch, opted to speak with someone, told that someone to take me off the call list and I got a f**k you. Hope they get busted soon and get life in prison for fraud.

Received a call on my cell phone today 6/16 at 12:20pm, but luckily could not answer phone.  Tried to call it back and says is disconnected, or no longer in service.  Googled it to see if any info and found this.  I will be placing this on my Do Not Answer list of calls that I have accumulated on my cell.

I think these guys are spoofing non-existent phone numbers for the CallerID when they call saying "this is a call from your credit card company." First of all, I believe this constitutes a perpetration of a FRAUD since I have long ago canceled all of my credit cards !! I previously spoke with someone on 2010-05-27 1:33:18 PM CDT (CallerID 1-826-000-9728) and told them I am on both the national and state "do not call list" and to remove me from their system. They called back today with caller ID 1-265-000-2899. The caller ID numbers they have used so far all have 000 as the prefix and are:

1-305-000-9876 on 2009-07-18 10:28:04AM CDT
1-917-000-9283 on 2009-12-07 1:26:05PM CST

I also received 15 calls over in the last year between 2009-07-01 and 2010-04-27 from 1-000-000-0000.

Intellius claims to have info on most of these numbers (ad gimmick I think) but I don't want to pay for it.

Anyone have any idea who we can contact to get these guys charged and off the grid ?

If you look on here a year ago you will see that I have reported them over and over again to the Do not call people, these folks have been calling me for five years NOBODY IS DOING THEIR JOB AT THE DO NOT CALL REGISTERY AS IN OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. So again I reported them *57

Been there, Done that but the calls still keep coming.  Told them to take my name off their list several times or I would take action.  Of course they hung up immediately before I finished the sentence.  Add this number to the list of their sources - 1-317-559-4012

They are spoofing their number as there is no such area code  and no such exchange (000). As for intelius, you could type any name or number into their system and they will claim to have information on it; it's an ad gimmick as you said.

They call me alll the time....when i tell them to take me off the list , they either cuss me,laugh at me, or hang up on me.They always call back.One time they even connected me to a sex hotline when I told them to never call back.I'm not sure how they did that, but they did.I hate these lowlifes!

The number 265-000-2899 called today. I did not answer but my phone has rang about 11 times all from the same number...what a pain in the neck

call the FTC report the numbers and time and date of calls and they will put a stop to it asap

I live in TN as well.  I never answer when these people call.
there should be SOMETHING we can do about this harassment!

Was told when I attempted to speak to a person asking them not to call me that they would make my life miserable and they have proceeded to give out my name and number to other people who are angry that they called so now I am getting calls from other harrassed people.   This has to stop.
