Just got a call from this number, saying something about job opportunites. I have my resume out on several sites, and as I am looking for work, I went along, thinking they had found my resume from one of the sites I am on. Asked if I was over the age of 18, if I was a US citizen or permanent resident, if I was currently working, if I or my spouse had any connection to the military and if I had a diploma or GED from a high school in the US. I do not as I am a permanent resident and went to school in my home country. At this point, the person said because of one or more of my answers, I was unqualified for the positions and hung up. Sounded like a recording, or automated voice prompter. Based on what others have said here, they would probably have wanted to verify personal information had I not been "disqualified" so soon.

Just got the call noted above.  I asked who was calling, they hung up.  So did I, then promptly google searched the phone number they were calling from and found this page.  Yes, I am looking for jobs, but I completed no 'survey' to prompt such attention, so I presume (as do many here) that it's a telemarketing cold-calling setup that some group has setup to prey on people at random, dropping the hook of a potential job to keep someone on the line long enough to justify someone else's job.

And here I thought telemarketers were banned from calling cell phones by law on the theory that consuming people's minutes is highly unpopular and potentially dangerous if we cannot then use our phones to call family in emergency situations because telemarketers have consumed the limited supply we were barely able to purchase...going to check on that assumption now.

Received a call from 267 338 3195 very early in the morning. Sounded like a recorded message and said something like ?you will die?, followed by a hang up. Caller ID recorded the number. Assumed it was a prank call.

Got a call on my mobile from this number. Picked up, no response. The call automatically ended itself after a few seconds.

Number called and left no message.

Just received a call. The man said he was with some career services place calling regarding an online survey I filled out. I said I had not filled one out and remove my number from your list. He said he would call back another time. I said remove my number, at which point he hung up. I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.

This number called me about possible (fake) job placement based on an online "survey".  It started by asking me general questions such as my education, work permits, etc.  Being on the job market right now, so I went along.  Then he started asking me to "VERIFY" my personal info.  At that point, I realized that he did not even have my name, so I refused immediately.
After my refusal, he started to trying to tell me about tuition loans for going back to school.  I hang up at that point.

this number just called .... didnt answer since i didnt know the number.  no message left.

Just got a call from this number. My policy is if the number is unknown I let it go to voicemail. If it's so important they'll leave a message.

Got a call on the 19th claiming I filled out some on -line survey regarding working for Wal-mart.  Unfortunately the number was local to my home area code so I answered it.

Apparently its a scam, I google it. When answered the called, it say that while i was only, I express that I was looking for a job. It does sounds like a scam.

I GOT THE SAME CALL YESTERDAY, I thought it  maybe a friend so i texted saying who is tgis but this but they never  called back

Called me today.  Left no message.  I am on national DO NOT CALL list.

who is this that is calling me it has no name or picture in my phone who is this and what do you want????????????

I call back and realized it was BS and hung up.

I had the same response as Will.  Entered 9 and my number, hopefully, that will prevent further calls.  I find it interesting that it came from Levittown, which is the next town from where I live.  I wonder if it is targetted to locals?

Got a call, missed it. No message left.I called back, "WN Positions" recording for career placement. It is an automated system which does allow you to remove yourself from list by pressing "9". I must have automatically been signed up while filling out job applications online.

I answered and no one responded

i got one...left no message..no reply when called back....

Just got one...same as above hung up after 5 seconds or so...

they hung up when I answered and when I called back, the machine said WN something..see what employee opportunities are available for you. They will not answer their phone

I picked up the phone, but one responded.  After about 10 seconds there was a beep and a voice said 'goodbye' and hung up

Yep, I did. I didn't answer. They left no message.
