To add to my previous post, in my case, they call after I've purchased a domain to "thank [me] for [my] business]" and to see if they can sell me some of the web design/web traffic increasing services, etc.

It's Network Solutions.  They're legally allowed to call, because you are a customer of theirs.  While caller ID would be nice, so that I don't have to wonder who the heck is calling me at work every time this number comes through, I've called them back, and nothing nefarious has transpired.  Apparently, they can't leave a message, since they're discussion involves potential monetary transactions (in case they upsell you something).

I constantly get calls from this phone number.  Shortly after I answer I hear a dial tone.

they call here 1-2 times a day, never leave message, we are a NS customer

It's a legitimate call to existing customers.
A medical exchange and nothing more.  Totally safe.

As many other posters have said, this appears to be a call from Network Solutions.  I just registered a domain name with them and received a call from this number less than half an hour later.  No message left.

This is Network Solutions and they are trying to upsell services to an existing domain name that you have renewed or purchased new. I let the calls go to voicemail and they do not leave a message

I have a Web page with them, but this is a mild form of harassment to drum up more $ervices.

This number has shown up on caller ID every day for over a month and no one ever says anything when I pick up the call.  This is annoying and they are wasting my time.  I now hang up on them.

if this company calls and says nothing, they are invading your privacy because you have NOT told them to "not call anymore" or to "remove you from their list". they are gathering info for a marketing call list. this is just bad business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Network Solutions I actually called them back and told them to stop  harassing me, they put me on their do not call list,, we'll see

ironic that netsol would revert to sales guys calling you vs emails ...

This number calls several times a day, no message. Just annoying!

We pick up the phone, no one answers but there is obviously someone on the line. Why?

It is Network Solutions.  If you got a call from them, your number probably was listed at one time with them as a customer, they don't spam call.  You can simply email them and have your number removed, or call them, but you won't like the phone maze you have to run to talk to a real person.

The phone is Network Solutions, a well-known Internet service company. Unlikely they will call unless you already have some sort of account with them. For example, a domain name.

But if you get a call and return it, you'll go through the usual phone maze and waiting. Try online first, if you have an account.

They may be Network solutions, but they are soliciting about credit cards!

Got this call right after registering a domain name with Network Solutions.  They hung up.  No message.  Probably just validating my phone number.

Unknown caller leaving no message and not even answering when I do pick up the call.

Just got a call from them asking if everything was OK with my new web site (just got a new domain name registered). Not a bad thing.

Move along folks... nothing to see here :-)

These a***oles have called me 25 times in the past 2 months. No message left ever. I just reported them on the Do Not Call list.
