Got a call from this number, they took a minute to answer when i said hello and then when i told them that the peron they were calling wasnt here they asked when would be a good time to call. I asked them if i could take a message they replied after rambling "this call maybe monitored etc..."with an arrogant NO this is a personal matter and then hung up. Wont be answering any calls from this number or any number resembling this one again.

This is Not only NCO Financial, they also call from Mc guigan Law Office LLC, they are a collection agency as well. I have recieved numerous calls both from 1-267-519-1119 and 1-877-543-6152!! Make them stop!!

Have some fun with them, people. It's easy. Give vent to your darkest vulgarities of thought. Ask the lowly operator if they like it in all holes at once, for example.

They call me every morning, but don't leave a message.  It is NCO financial.  They are looking for my fater in law.  How they got my cell phone number is beyond me

this guy called me this morning and was saying all the same things youre saying. only he rattled off my social all10 digits, my full name and my address and said it was a best buy account with $3000+ and they could offer me a deal to settle. i told him i monitor my credit and i know that i didnt have another account. he called me a liar and continued to harrass me. i got a bunch of info, but am scared to call it back and dont think i need to. i called best buy and my real account is the only one they have on file under my social. i think this guy was phishing and i pretty much gave him every confirmation that he needed. what do i do now?

I told them that the person they were looking works for a circus and can't be reached.  We have no debts and the name of the person they asked for is our neighbor boy who is ten years old.  Just threaten them and tell them to send a ltr to the address they have.  That should stop them.

Calling the number back does not work, and it must be an overseas phone number since my calls can not be reached dialing just 1-267-519-4400.

Told the person that they had the wrong number.(Did not recognize the name of the person they were asking for}  Could not understand the caller.  After hanging up they called right back and then left two messages on my voice mail but did not say anything.

YEP, GOT THE SAME CALL, CALLED THEM BACK, BUT SAID I HAVE NO MONEY, EVEN IM A MALE, I TALKED LIKE A WOMAN, SO FAR THEY HAVNT CALLED BACK, OR UNLESS THE REP GOT REALLY TURNED ON:)

They are NCO Financial, a collection agency for various merchants such as; American Express, Visa, Master Card, Sears, etc..  
They do not honor the Federal Do Not Call List.
They just fish for similar last names and harrass people at all hours.
Do not confirm anything on the phone!  Tell them to send a letter to the address in their file and hang up. Do not give them your name or address!!

I got a call from this company for another individual. It sounded EXACTLY like a call I got a few months back from an illegally practicing "lawyer's" agent. It is completely bogus. Mine was based on a nonexistent debt. They had me in tears and very upset. I am so glad I did not give them money or info. Once I started asking questions and put my P/Od husband on the phone they quickly shut down their operation & wouldn't answer their phone. They get you with the line that if you make a settlement with them right away, you will owe less money and avoid court. Think about it: does the law really work that way? Wouldn't you have heard about/remebered such a debt before it had gotten that far? My specific debt did not exist, and my credit report proves it. PLEASE do not give them ANY info, whether about your FIL, yourself or anyone. If they are lawyers or reps of one, they should have your info, so ask them. What is the account #? What company do you owe? Let me call that company directly and ask them about that acct. #...if he doesn't have time for that, then think to yourself, he's not really trying to do you a favor.

They called my home phone twice in a row, left no message. Then about two minutes later they called my cell phone, twice in a row, and left no message. The following day they called my cell phone again. About every two weeks this company changes to a different phone number, sometimes they speak, and give you the whole nine yards of BS, about how it is a bad thing that you are doing. Never once, do they ask your name. Other area codes that they use are: 856 and various 800 codes.

We get annoying calls to our business from this phone, someone with an Indian accent always asking for some dead beat, whom we don't know.  Is this a joke or is this an Indian conspiracy to make our lives more hectic?

Received 3 calls in a roll. NCO changed the information on the caller IDS too to Unknown and DENSA.

I received a phone call on Friday, 7 January 2011, from an individual with a heavy accent asking if I was who I was and asked if the last 4 digits of my SSN were my SSN.  I said yes, and he proceeded to tell me he was a debt collector for Northland Group in regard to a Premier Bank account.  I am trying to correct things on my credit report so I listened.  He said the compnay was offering a one time settlement on the account.  I agreed that I would like to participate, but it was the three questions he asked that showed some shady business going on.  These are the three things he asked for that I did not reply:  Estimated take home pay, my marital status, and how much I paid for mortgage/rent.  I informed this individual that I had dealt with debt collectors in the past, and they never asked me any questions like that.  And I hung up the phone.  Then, the stupid person decides to call me back from this phone number:  (650) 230-1967.  He was actually begging for me to continue with trying to obtain a settlement.  I hung up again.  I do regret giving him my cell phone number.  The following day, the phone number (267) 519-4400 called and it was the stupid a** man again.  I hung up again.  They call like every other day from the (650) 230-1967 ohone number, but I am at work.  Thank goodness I did not provide my work number.  Besides, I have dealt with the real Northland Group in the past and they are very legit and professional.

Received three cals on cell phone from number.  No mesg, could not call back.  If it is NCO, which is NOT owned by JPMorgan as some dunce earlier suggested, they are violating federal law.  Class action case down the road my friends.  Caller needs express consent to call a cellphone.

Called five times straight, just after 8am.  I was busy, and muted the ringer.  Immediately, called right back, again I muted.  Again, called back immediately; five times in row total.  Left no message.    If it warrants calling five times back-to-back in less than 2 minutes, would it not warrant leaving a message?

This is one harrassing co NCO they call at all times of the day and night they have some nerve calling at 7 am on sunday morning and as late as 11 pm at night every single day

They call me to tell me that my voice being recorded and then they hang up, get a life.

NCO from India....  I must call them back on an urgent matter.  Yeah right thats going to happen.  Take these calls and call them back and they will you forever.  Just ignore and they eventually will go away.
