They called us at 10:46 PM last night.  Fortunately for us - we were busy watching the weather report and did not get to the phone in time to answer.  No message was left.  Apparently an overseas number - not the sort of number we would be calling back so long as no one cared to leave a message.

Just got this call it said it came from Antigua/Barbuda. They called me twice really quickly it wasn't enough time to pick up the phone. After reading this defiantly did not call them back and block it on my iphone. I hope the N.S.A could actually do something good by stoping this, hopefully they are listening (lol they're like god).... or could we even scam them back??

I just got a call from this number and researched it. Since the phone companies will not let you block unlimited calls, I looked on the Google Play store and got an app called CALL CONTROL - CALL BLOCKER.  I have no clue if it works, but there are thousands of reviews and they are a 4 1/2 star rated app. It also lets you block entire area codes.  I just now got it, so I have no idea if it works, but I figured I would let you all know about it.

Received a call today 2-4-14 from this number 268-762-0134 no message was left but the ID said it was from Antigua / Barbuda, another country.

Thanks everyone.  I just got this call and wondered about it, so texted all my kids to not answer it or call it back if they get a similar call.

1 ring. Called back cause I was curious. Had a dam cool song playing while I was supposed to be on "hold". "Please wait for the operator..."
I'd call back just to hear it again...

Within 30 seconds of each other, my husband and I received calls from this number. They disconnected before we answered. We have Verizon and our phone numbers are only a digit away from each other.

Yeah, got a call today from them - no message, of course.

As Luke and others have suggested, too bad the DHS does not get involved with this.  Our national productivity is being damaged with a thousand cuts from these people using publicly-regulated services to break the law with impunity, simply because they are not "terrorists."  

DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK ITS A SCAM TO GET LONG DISTANCE CHANGES ON YOUR PHONE..................

Got a call from this number on my cell at 5:06AM this morning & woke me up. I keep the phone on the other side of the house, but heard it, and was afraid something happened to someone in my family. There was no message left. Then I got another call on my cell at 7:13AM from a 268-762-0029, and no message left. I searched on Google, and this is coming from Barbuda, Antigua. Will see if I can have all 268 numbers blocked.

Got a call from this number at 12:37am. Rang maybe twice didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. Sounds like a good call on my part. Wtf.

The calls are from bots, they are checking for numbers for the government free 250 min/text phones they give away to low income Americans. Yes these are 100%  N.S.A. phones. they go through Alliance Wireless

Got a call 1/29/14 10pm from a similar number, and now this # (off by last 4 digits) at 1030pm.
Both from Antigua/Barbuda.

Called  my  cell,  rang  twice. I  sent it to voicemail but no message was left.

Received call at 9:11pm eat- rung once. Number was unfamiliar - didn't answer- researched on this site- will not return call....

Half rang looked up area code and this site came up .I don't ever answer a number I don't  know. No message I don't call it back.

I got a call from the 268-762-0134 at 3:10 pm MST, rang maybe twice, and no voicemail was left....wth?!

I just got 3 calls back to back from this number it will do them no good to try and charge me I got a prepaid iPhone threw AT&T

Saw this number show up on my cell and it hung up after first ring. I am not calling it back.

Just had this number ring my cell, then hung up.  Time of missed call was 3:14.  

Do not answer these miscellaneous numbers. If you do not recognize any number, DO NOT answer them.  

There are far too many scam artists out there who have plenty...plenty of time to think of ways to take advantage of your time, money, and life.  

Be cautious and not so hasty to answer calls you do not recognize.
