Rang once, didn't answer... these are the scammers that if you call them back, they charge you 29.99 + 9.99. If you have answer the phone to this number, make sure you check your bill for unauthorized billing.

Got this call today. GOT TO STOP THIS. The other day one came in from Grenada at 2:30 am

Received a call from this number today but didn't answer because I don't know the area code or number. They also only let it ring 2 times, I guess hoping I would call back.

Just got a call from 268-762-0159 did not pick up, had heard on the news this morning about these calls and they
said do not pick up or call back because of costly phone bills.....don't know what the caller is getting out of this? do they get money? or is it just for kicks?  Crazy!

Oh,and usually it is only one to two rings with NO voice mail left because they are hoping you will call them back so they can charge you!

I don't think it has anything to do with the target breach as I don't shop at Target and also I have never been to Barbados or Antigua so, I don't think it has anything to do with visiting the islands (to answer the questions above). I get calls from multiple numbers from the same place all the time. From what I can find out, its some sort of scam and if you answer the call (if you have a contract cell phone or land line phone) they somehow charge fees to your phone bill or if you call the number back. Good news is though, I have also found out, if you have a prepaid (which I have thank goodness) they can not charge anything to your bill as it is prepaid. Hope this helps!

one ring @ 10:03 pm 2/3/14, then stopped. I don't call back numbers I don't know.

My husband and I both received a phone call from this number tonight (Feb. 3) from Antigua/Barbuda. He received it earlier this evening; I received it later. The phone only rang 2x and then stopped.

I received a call from this number tonight (Feb. 3), but have never been to Antigua or Barbuda. My husband also received this call earlier tonight and has never been to either location. I think they're just going down the phone numbers of our carrier.

(268) 762-0159 from Antigua/Barbuda called me on 2/3/14 at around 11:30am EST & didn't leave a message.  Don't call them back!  I'm deleting record of their call so I don't accidentally call them back.  I'm reposting someone else's post about this:

I also got a call from 268-762-0159 on my cell rang once and they hung up no voicemail.  Deleated the number off my phone to not accidently call them back.

Received a call from this number twice. I finally blocked it on my phone and ditched it on Youmail,so I won't be receiving anymore calls from this number showing from Barbados. Also saw a report that there is a scam going around where an unknown number calls you and expects you to call it back and then you get charged.  

I got a call from this # at 12:24 AM on Feb 3.  No message was left and I didn't answer.

... or (the most likely scenario) the scammers are using a robodialer.

How are these jerks getting our numbers anyway?!  I'm on the do-not-call list so either that's a crock, or a company has sold our numbers to someone without questioning who the hell they are!

Got a call from this number.  Did not call it back to avoid international phone charges, but I did report it to the Do Not Call Registry.

This is a huge scam, if you call back you will be billed a fee plus international charges. It is all a scam!

Received this a call from this number at 9:09 pm 2/2/14.  I have signed up with the Federal no call list.  Do not appreciate still receiving these annoying calls.

Same number. Didn't recognize and didn't answer. No message.
