Same here.  Perhaps someone trying to verify that our name's belong to our phone numbers... Has to be a scam somehow.  I don't recommend typing your actually name here, because if that a**hole is monitoring this site, they'll know they have your number right...

Got a text that read "Hello Dan.." Texted back "Hi, who is this?" No reply. Looked up the number and found this site. I'm kinda creeped out by the whole thing.

I got a text from this person and they said "hello *my name* so I responded with who is this. They said "Haha if u want to know who this is u got to add me on yahoo msnger, my name is txtiegirl81" I again asked them who it was and no response

I received a text message that just said "hola Kristen" .

Replied asking who they were and have not received any response.

Received a text message saying "Hi pete!" I responded with "who is this?" and did not get a response.

I got a text message that stated, "hola Michael."

I received a text from this person, and "it" said add him/her on ymessenger first to find out?
