i just got a call fromthe number I live in victoria BC. it was an automated call and it said that due to my credit rating going up i have $2600 toward travel rewards and to claim it press one and to reject it press 3 i just hung up.

Just received call 001 269 768 2390 did'nt answer as I saw this site previous, I'm on TPS too - pathetic!

I have just received the third call from a company claiming the same debt solutions but the number was 1-269-768-2126.  I too am in the UK, registered on TPS and Ex Directory.

Same as Stephen and the rest.

I am ex-directory, signed up TPS, in the UK.

Also had a call on Friday from a telemarketing call centre in Las Vegas, missed that call too, but an American friend found out who it was for me.

Getting worried now that I'm on some list over there and don't know what to do about it.

I just received a call from this number. They claimed that I had entered a draw at "Wal-Mart or Target" (kind of interesting that the draw would be running simultaneously at two stores that are competitors -- and where I never shop). It apparently had something to do with a trip to Cancun. It was pretty ridiculous - they listed, in detail, all of the wonderful things I would experience in Cancun, right down to the ice-cold beer. And to top it all off, in passing at the end they mentioned that I also received a SECOND free $2600 trip that I could give away to a friend! WOW!

The recording said "press one to claim your prize," and I pressed it, hoping I could at least have some fun with the scam artists. But the line went dead and I was disconnected, so now I'm worried I'm on a "phone numbers of gullible people" list that these jerks are making to sell to other scam artists.

I find it interesting that lindsy25 (above) also received a phone call promising her $2600, but for a different reason. Maybe they are trying out different scams to see which one works the best...?

I just got the call from this same number.  I am in Milwaukee, WI.
It said unknown name, so I didn't answer.  It did not leave a message on answering machine.

Just got a call from 269-768-2018, I'm in Ontario, Canada
Since mine is an unlisted number, I totally ignored that.
Not sure how the @$#% they got my number in the first place. Some companies I've used before must have breached my info the a 3rd company without my authorization >:/

I have just reported this issue to the TPS. Not sure it will do much good, but I have given them a link to this thread.

I was also called by these people today. I asked to speak to a supervisor, as I wanted to know where they got my number from, being ex-directory and registered with TPS, of course, no supervisor was available

they phoned me.

My phone is showing that it received a call from this number. I too am ex-directory and am signed up with the TPS for no junk calls.

Had the 7th or 8th call from from this number today despite being signed up to telephone preference service and an ex-directory number (UK)
National Awareness - selling some sort of arrangement with creditors or bankruptcy servcie I presume.
