This person called my husband on a Sunday.  We did the reverse look up and this number came from a land line in Bellevue, MI.  They were calling about a credit card that we just closed do to fraudulent activity.  They wanted to let us know that we qualified for a free gift card. They said the last 4 numbers of the account number.  They wanted to get our address.  My husband told them they should have our address if they were the card holder.  He them hung up.  We are calling out bank today to report the number.

This person called regarding my Visa card ending -****.  She said there was a lot of activity on the card, and as a reward, she wanted to give me a $50 certificate.  What this stupid loser didn't know is that my card ending in -**** had  been closed already for 6 months!  IDIOTS!  ALL OF THEM!

I keep getting a call from this number 269-768-2512. The caller id says it is "order conf call" what ever that means. When you answer there is no one there. It has been happening an average of 1 to 3 times a day. for the past several days. I want it to STOP..how can I get this resolved?

Yes, I've been receiving phone calls from number (269) 765-2512 on my cell phone periodically during the day, every day of the week!  I'm going to put a block on the number so I'm not bothered with these calls.  I have ordered infomercial things in the past, but not the "Slap-Chop".  I don't know if it has anything to do with it or not...

This is very frustrating as I too don't answer calls from numbers I don't know and I don't call back numbers unless they leave me a message.  I too looked up the number only to find it out of Bellevue, MI as well.

Caller ID displayed Order Conf Cal.  Since I recently placed an order I answered the call and there was no response.  They just hung up.  I then checked the number on my phone, 269-768-2512. After reading previous postings I will keep an eye on my card charges. Thanks

I havn't been getting any calls from this number, but i have been lucky enough to get two recurring payments per month of $19.95 each after buying the slap chop back in october. If you purchased the slap chop, keep an eye on your credit card statement. These are the charges i've found.

I ordered a slap chop as well.  Have received six calls in less then a day.  I called AT&T and got them to block the number so I do not receive any more calls.

I ordered a Slap Chop too, not only have I been getting phone calls, but their website ordering system is funky and I ended up with twice what I wanted.  Unlike most reputable sites, I did not get a final "are you sure this is what you want?" option. I was redirected to this site from Amazon, so I believed it would be ok.

Same here - - ordered the stupid Slap Chop as a gag X-Mas gift and have since received 5 calls on my cell phone in two days, including 3 today in the last 3 hours, and counting.  I'm on a do not call list and, even if I (or you) are not, I'm sure the FTC would be interested in hearing about this.

yeah slapchop can go to hell. not kosher at all. i've complained 3 times to donotcall.gov about this # already since buying it the other day. you should too - the more the better - so the govt will start doing something if they haven't already.

Samething..bought the slap chop from the site that said it was safe and today got a call..doesn't make me feel real safe at all...

I just wanted to follow up about this number that called us.  I contacted the phone company and the attorney general's office for my state to make a complaint against this caller.  The phone company is going to look in to it and the attorney general's office is going to mail me some papers to fill out and mail back to them.  I hope this fraud will stop!

Thank you very much for your posts.  Over the last two days I have been getting calls on my phone from this number.  I am at work during the day, so I don't see the missed call until after the fact.  I tried calling the number back from my work phone and got an automated voicemail message.  Then someone at work told me she had something similar happen to her, where the number would call, hang up and then people would call back and their phone bills would get these ridiculous charges on it (because of that number) So I am glad to hear that you are doing something to try to stop this jerk!  If you need any help or another "victim of his games/fraud", definately post back.  Thank you again!

call came into my cell number. Asked for me by name. As I did not recognize the number I told the caller that the person they were looking for no longer had this number.

got a call from this #. sounded like a solicitor so I hung up and consulted your lookup, and read a few disturbing reports. They again called the next day. I let the lady (whos voice was identicle to the first call ) offer me a $50 dollar gas card for using my visa. She needed more info on the card. I then informed her that I had googled her # the previous day and found out some info on them. She then denied ever calling before. I informed her that she herself had the previous day. She asked what I had found out. I replied that all reports indicated she was a credit card scam. She thanked me and hung up. I wish to thank you your records. Thanks.

Call came to my cell phone @ 7:28p.m. No message.  I appreciate all of you for putting these warning posts up!  It lets the rest of us know to be on the lookout. :)

Got a call from this # today @ 11:08 a.m. Michigan area code. Left no message.

I don't answer calls from unfamiliar #'s, especially from out of state area codes.

My credit card info was compromised from my bank in a breach with Heartland Payment Systems. My bank sent me a new card with a new number. I got a call from a similar number (ending in 2512) with an offer of a $50 gas card if I paid $2.50 to have it shipped. They had my old credit card info.

I don't know if it has any relation, but I never ordered a product from an infomercial until a few days ago. I am now receiving regular calls from this number and 269-768-2511. I ordered the Slap Chop online, so maybe this is related.

Never received a call from this number until this morning.  I did not answer and there was no message. I ordered an infomercial item yesterday and used a Chase Visa. This seems to agree with some of the others info listed above. We have call block so this number will not be calling here again.

Wow I ordered the slap chop yesterday as a xmas swap gift and got a call from this number today!!!  That is ridiculious.  I wish I never ordered the thing.

Two phone calls from this number today. No one on line.  Replied via text to stop calling me... got reply that msg was delivered to answering machine.

My mom wanted the fix it pen  and i place the order yesterday, with her info but with my cell phone number, They called me today asking for her, to gave her a 50 dlls credit card and some BS... I told the guy  (  by the way super heavy accent....and I have an accent but this guy was really really bad....)  anyway....  I told him that i was no intersted in obtaining no gift card cause i knew how those things worked...you get something and then they charge you for a stupid subscription.....He told me that I had nothing to worry about it, so when i told him that I did not want it, he told me something That I didn't understand....I just caught the last 2 words...something with false information or something....he insisted talking to my mom but i didn't let him....So after reading this I'll tell my mom to cancel her card.....asap....!!!

number calls 5-6 times a day but no one is there

OMG the same thing has been happening to me too!! They call me atleast 2-3 times a day!! Its getting soo annoying!! Im going to call the National Do-Not-Call-List at 1-888-382-1222...my parents and friends all say that this normally stops all of those calls with telemarketers and what not..hopefully this will work!
