This is a scam............they said they are calling for the firefighter fund raising..........the scoop is........they are just using the guise of a charity fund raising where they keep $0.80 cents of every dollar that they can scam from you.........whatever charity they supposedly to represent, will be lucky to see any money at all. DO NOT FALL for this type of fund raising.......ALL telemarketing charity fund raising is a variation of these scumbags making money in the name of one charity or another. Once you GIVE..........your name will be sold to another scammer........ hence, that is how they know of who you are by name..........you have become Mr/Mrs. "EASY SOFT HEARTED TARGET" to these Jack***es.

Got the same thing, no message was left but noticed this number on my caller ID.
I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, so this company/person has already had done an illegal act...
so when I call back, the same thing some lame music and they the line goes dead.
There is ways to do thing right and this company/person is NOT!  Report this people!!

I got a call today from the phone number2698582005of which my caller ID says its a local number but no one is one the other end and when you call it back they cut the call off.

I received a call from this number today, but when I said hello there was no answer. When I called the number back, I heard music for a moment and then the line went dead.

I just got a call from this number today.  I said hello about 3 times and they stayed on the line then there was a moment of silence and they hung up.  I tried calling it back and heard something like hold music instead of a ring then there was a pick up and immediately afterwards a busy signal.  I then tried calling back as a private caller and it rang through and they immediately disconnected.  Makes you wonder who is calling your home...

on caller ID it says local but 269 area code is not local so I won't answer it.  They call almost every day

My husband got a call from this number today.  Picked up phone, no one was on line.  Very annoying!!!!!!

I get calls from this number every day and there is never anyone on the other end of the line when I answer. When I call the number back someone answers then hangs up. This is getting very annoying!

recieved a call from this number. Person on other end asked for my wife by name. My daughter handed my wife the phone and nobody was on the line. Tried calling back several times, sometimes there would be a short ring then nothing, other times there would be a short musical tone then nothing else.

At least once every day I get a call from this number.  Caller ID says Unknown. There's never a message.  If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  If it's so allfired important to call me every day, why not leave a message?   GGGRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been getting calls from this same number.  I was home today when they called and I actually had someone on the other end.  It is Synel, or however you spell it.  It is one of the solicitation companies that calls for other companies.  In my case it was for the Professional FireFighters Association.

Same story...we get a call a day from this number.  Caller ID says MICHIGAN CALL.  They will not leave a message.  Very annoying.

Received a call from Michigan Fire Fighters Charity. EXTREMLY RUDE! When we told him to take us off his CALL list he called us "CHEAP A**".  Is this a charity? Sounds like a harassment call!!  GREAT representation - MICHIGAN FIRE FIGHTERS!!

I've seen this number on our caller id a few times but never any messages. Was finally home when they called and it's the Michigan Professional Firefighters Association doing their yearly fund raiser. She was very pleasant, even when I told her that I've asked them before to take our name off their list. She apologized and told me to have a nice year. That was all. We'll see if they continue calling now that they actually "talked" to somebody. Oh, they originally asked for my husband by name, when I told them he wasn't available I asked if I could help, then she referred to me by my name and started her little song and dance...

They are a company calling to collect donations for charity. They are very harassing.

Looking at caller ids, we have been getting call a day from 269-858-2005 for the past couple of weeks.  We let them go to the answering machine where they just hang up.

Have had numerous calls from this number. When you answer, the call disconnects.

We receive calls from this number every day with similar hang up results.  I have tried to call it back and have had the hang-up response.  I wonder if this is a cell phone number.  Although my husband said he had received a call recently from someone he thought was a FAKE firefighter fundraiser who got really rude with him when he asked questions and seemed suspicious of the call.  I don't know if it was from this number, but it happened recently.  We just moved to the 231 area code and haven't had our phone number for even two months.

I just received 2 calls from this number asking for my husband.  The first one was a lady and I told her he was at work.  I no more than hung up and it rang again showing the same #, this time it was a man calling.  I get these calls every day and it's making me very angry.

Someone keeps calling me from this number.  They never leave a message and seem to "hang up" or something just as I answer the phone.  There is never anyone there.
