My wife and I in Norway have received around 14 calls a week for the past 6 months from this number, with only the last three digits varying, for example: 020, 028, 030, 036, 039, 040, 042, 043, 184, 187, 196, 198, 208, 212 + many many more. The caller responds in only 1 in 20 calls. When there is a response, the caller asks for me, using my full name. As the caller does the usual "we want to help you fix your computer" dialogue, my wife asks him for his name and where he is calling from. "It does not matter who I am or where I call from, STOP ASKING ME THAT!" he replies, clearly irritated. Finally, today I got a response for the first time. The man explained he was calling from a computer consultancy firm (or something similar). I rudely interrupted and said I know all about this scam, and I see no reason to continue this discussion. "But that is different, this is a good company" he replied. We do wish this would stop, as we are tormented every day with these 274-790-0nnn calls.

During the previous series of phone calls, the person calling has been asking for my husband. Now, he's started calling again - this time asking for me. He's got my full name, address, phone no. This time I decided to take advice from some of the other "victims" on this forum: I told the guy I didn't have a PC but an Apple Mac. 'Are you sure about that?', he replied. 'Yes', I told him. 'OK then. Bye'. He hung up...

Madame Wong, my mother (who is also in Norway) has been complaining about the same thing. As Scam says, they've been trying to get her to log on to internet in order to help her PC from (initially) having problems, to (recently) blow up..

She has consistently refused but in recent calls they have been rude and insulting. I've been trying to get to them and ended up on this site as well when looking up the number..

The person(s) calling from this number is trying to fraud you by trying to get you to log on to internet claiming they will help you out with some Windows problems.  Waste some time and then Hang up!

Apparently got three phone calls from this number today, but wasn't available to pick up the phone. Fortunately, I ended up on this site when trying to figure out where the call came from. I'm in Norway.
