My mega million call came from John Madison Las Vegas Neveda , mega million sweepstakes, wanted me to purchase a green dot card for 250 dollars for state taxes because of crossings taste lines. Had to tell the poor lad thanks but no thanks how stupid do you think I am. Phone number used was 876-381-7959.1

I received a call this morning from a foreign man making these same allegations of me winning 5.5 million and a mercedes benz. He say i needed to western union or money gram $500 to receive my prize. He say his name is David Phillips from a jamaica #876 852 2436. He then asked me if I could borrow the money or pawn something so that i could send him the money. Sound too good to be true. People please dont fall for this scam the internet is here for us to use for these types of scams

Got a call from "unknown number", which I normally don't answer.  Guy said his name was John Bentley, from Mega millions lottery, and I had won (??) millions and he needed to take down info.  He knew my name and address, and gave me two phone numbers when I said I had to get back to wrok..this one ( 917-460-9619), and a roaming number- ( 876)472-4643 . . .

When I googeld the numbers, Icame u with not much from the 917-460-9619, but the other one is  a scam from JAMAICA.

When I googled the name John Belntley and megalottery, I came to this site.

The Jamica scam said that people were charegd thousands of dollars for the call.

Don't think I will bother calling them back.  Guess you have to be really careful when entering contests, or when on Fakebook.  Those are the only places where I have given out my name and address recently..

 Beginning on June 28,2013 I started to receive  phone calls stating that I had a MEGA MILLIONS prize of $18,5000,000 check $ 250,000.00 Cash and a new Mercedes Bens car that they would deliver to my home.  After I called hem with the numbers on the back of the Green DOT Money Back cards I also  received a call from a man by the name of Jason Martin (202) 760 2332 stating that he was an employee of the Federal Trade Commission and he gave me the same information about needing to pay money to win the prize I am supposed to get from American Sweepstakes Promotions.  Only$ 240,000.00. Mr Martin gave me the name of an employee of American Sweepstakes Promotions   by  the name of Lisa Fisher  (702) 605 8715 Mr. Martin said I needed to use a credit card to purchase a money Order from the Muskegon Post Office for  the amount of 1% or$2,400.00.  Lisa Fisher from American Sweepstakes said it only needed to a little more than half that amount $2,000 .00. I recieved a call more recenlty, from a From David stating that he was a customs agent and why havent i claimed my package. When i asked what package he stated i won a MEGA MILLION raffel out of LAS VEGAS and that i needed to do to wal mart and" get a scratch card for 249 dollars for paperwork processing and across state lines applicable fees".HAHA... "And that a IRS agent would accompany him tomorrow upon delivery of the check but that they would be exscorting me to the bank" any bank of my choice....

We received a call from John McKenzie from Mega Millions Lottery.  He states that they are based in Las Vegas and in Virginia.  We won $1.5 M and a 2012 Chrysler.  He did not know the model.  We are unable to go to Las Vegas to claim our prize.  He stated that we could get a money pak reloadable scratch card from Rite Aid, Walmart or CVS to pay for delivering the vehicle and a check drawn out of Bank of America.  I asked him to take the deliverying of the vehicle out of the $1.5 M and stated I wanted cash.

I too have recieved a  call from this Mercedes Mega Million org. with the assurance that I had won 2.5 million and they needed info to qualify me....I feel much better to see that I am not the only one....and hope there are no consequences for talking with them.   I am not sure what the number that caled me was, it didn't show up on my phone, but suspect it was the same as this one.

Phone call came Fri., 12-16-2011:  All of the above happened to me, except that, "Rev. William Bentley wanted me to pay $1505.00 for wining $2 million and a Mercedes.  He wanted me to go to Las Vegas to collect it.  Told him no and then he said that he would send someone to my house to deliver it.  The phone # is listed as a land line in Norton, VA 24273.  This time he said I won it from a drawing with CVS.  NOT! NOT! NOT!

Hello I got the person who stated he was Mr. William Bently calling my home, stated I won a sweepstake sponsored by Wal-Mart, Walgreen and K-Mart for $5 million  and a Mercedes,  can I fly to Las Vegas to collect my prizes. Contact number is 276-883-2325. I was laughing so hard and bluntly told him I did not believe a word he told me, he stated I don`t make jokes. I then asked him what`s the catch. He said there was no catch. I am waiting for the next call with instructions. Funny! Funny!

So did I.  He called himself "Rev" William Bentley.  You would think that with his accent, he would have a foreign name.  He knew my name & address, but then I am listed in the phone book. He said not to worry because the FBI & CIA were monitoring our conversation.  So, as soon as I stopped laughing, I told him that he is full of s**t and that I'd rather have a BMW.  I hung up the phone.

I received a called from an unknown caller saying he wanted to congratulate me for winning $5.5 M and a Mercedes Benz from the 'Mega Million Sweepstakes Company' of Las Vegas, NV.  Mr William Bentley said he was calling from Wash. D.C. and that he would call back to give me the prize # and when it would be delivered.   He gave me a number where I could contact the company 1-276-883-2325.   Next day he called back and asked if I would do what was necessary (required) to receive my prize? Ask him what he meant and he said all I had to do was pay for the insurance on my prize, $550 was a Western Union or Money Gram.   I told him I thought he said I won $5.5 M, take it out of that.   He said well if I didn't want the money I could give it to a charity, which charity did I want to give it to?  I told him my church.  He asked the name and I told him and he said at the same address, and I said no my church doesn't meet at my house, let me get you the address.  He then hung up.   The day after that (3rd day) when I returned to my house that (1-276-883-2325) number was on my phone.  Not realizing that was the # I had been given, I called and got a msg. in Mr. Bentley's voice saying 'you've reached 'Mega Million Sweepstakes'  an I hung up.  I later got a call back from that # but didn't answer.
