If you call the number back, there's an option (by pressing 8) that allows you to be put on their Do Not Call List.  Thank goodness!  I'm wondering if this is a recent feature judging by the posts preceding mine.

This company call one time a day every day for the last month. I call back and it is about renewing my subscription to something. But, no way to get to a live person to get them to stop calling.

I only hear heavy breathing whenever this person calls.

I have repeatedly told these people that our company is NOT interested, but they keep on calling.  Now when I see this number on caller ID.....I pick up the phone and hang up.  I've been doing that for a week now.  Pretty persitant pains in the butt.  I would never subscribe to anything that this company is publishing.  Being on the Do not call list is a joke.

I've received several calls from this number. When I answer, they stay quiet and don't answer.

I received calls from this number SEVERAL times.  I asked the person to please remove this number from their call list.  After being very persistant with the third person to remove our number, I started getting "dead" calls.  Now rather then getting 2-3 calls a day from a person, I receive about 10-15 "dead calls.  I really wish I could located a person or compant to call and report this problem.  Extremely annoying.

Trade journal publications renewal...this number originates from a subscription renewal service that updates free subscriptions to industry-specific trade magazines and journals. In my case, these are engineering magazines such as Electronic Design News, Desktop Engineering, Oil and Gas Journal, and others that must be renewed yearly. This is a legitimate service, and they do not sell or solicit these subscriptions, but merely update their records for continuation of subscription deliveries. Apparently the dialing system malfunctions from time to time, resulting in "dead" calls, and hang-ups.

Same thing here. Receive calls form this number but all i get is silence after i pick up.

They call every day.  No one on the line.

Get many many calls from 281-301-5077, but every time I pick up, all I get is silence!
