Called me 2x, left a voicemail, then they called back 6x in less than five minutes, only leaving one vm. Vn threatened legal action if I didn't respond. I finnaly answerd it and said knock it off and hung up. I havent heard from them since.

Foreign accent. Called 5 times. He left a very nasty message saying he will take legal action against me if I do not call back.

They called me. Knew my right info Which scared me. Told me my state attorney general was pressing charges for fraud. I told them I'd rather deal with the police.

I took a complaint from a citizen in a Southeastern state today and learned that the caller(s) claim to represent "Bureau Investigation," or something like that.  The callers threatened the citizen with criminal action stemming from an alleged and unproven debt.  I phoned them and after several attempts received unprofessional and quite rude responses from what sounded like foreign nationals of Pakistani or Indian descent.  My recommendation would be to contact the Better Business Bureau, monitor your credit reports, and even perhaps email Houston Police Department in TX (as they are the dominating PD in the area linked to the 281 area code).  Personally, if they call me I'd tell them GTH and block their number...or maybe even have a little fun with them on the phone if I happen to be bored.  Just be sure that none of you still have loans in default with Cash Net USA, or Cash Advance America, or the like, because therein may be the source of the problem.  FYI only.

it's a bunch of b***s*** - they called me too, back to back to back to back, saying i could face legal action because i have check fraud and other bank related charges. it's just a bunch of b***s*** is what it is. some f****rs trying to be smooth and make money.

They called my phone back to back to back and after about the 7th no answer I get a message with the man speaking very loudly saying that if I do not call back i could face legal action, what is thsi and who is this.

Just received a call from this number stating that they will take serious legal action against me, cause I am avoiding this call. WTF is this.

Just rec'd a call from this number stating they were from the dept of investigation or something like.  RED flag immediatley, today is presidents day all federal businesses are closed.  They then asked me if the last four digits of my social were ----, they were all wrong, red flag number two.  He then transfered me to his senior investigator who also gave the wrong information about my social. I finally said, if you want to communicate with me please notify via mail with all your information included.  He then hung up in my face.  I called back, and guess what, no answer.
