Ditto - when I answer, I hear an echo of my own voice on the phone, then disconnect.  When I call back, do not disturb is activated.  Pigs - remember I have your number.

Interesting - I keep getting calls from 281-576-1276.  Same thing when I call back the do not disturb message answers.  This must be some kind of marketing place.  The reverse number also lists the same address as the 281-576-1286.  Maybe its a w***e house :)

I just started getting calls from this number. I must be some sort of marketer with a computer generated list of numbers or something. But it is getting on my nerves. Does anyone else still get calls from this number? Or has anyone gotten anymore info. on it.

Just got a call from someone who couldn't even pronounce my name; as I asked her to repeat it, we got disconnected.  When I called back it gave me a message saying the person calling has a "do not disturb activated."  What the hell is this?  WHY can't anyone do anything about these damned calls?

I kept getting irritating calls from unknown numbers including the 1 281-576-1286. Here is a solution that I found out to block those calls but I have a 3-in-1 fax, printer, and copier.
1) Put a piece of paper in your printer like you would to fax something.

2) Select Send a Fax.

3) Select Log and Settings.

4) Select Fax Log.

5) Select Junk Fax Blocker.

6) Select Add Number Manually. (I sometimes add it with the 1 for long distance in front of the number and also the number w/o it.
This blocks the caller. It will ring once and stop. This has given me so much peace of mind. I have a HP printer and had a Brother before and it worked on both printers.
It feels great to have control on who can call your home number. It was a serendipitous (lucky) discovery. I hope this is helpful to others.

I have recieved repeated calls from this number, all to be hung up on when answered.  Upon calling back, we recieve the "Do Not Disturb" message.

Hung up when I answered the call.  I called back and got recording that 'do not disturb' was activated and calls were not being accepted.

Received calls - does not answer and hangs up.  When I call back, I get a recording "the call can not be completed as dialed"
