Texas Highway Patrol asking for donations to help families of officers killed in the line of duty. Always polite, but will continue to call until you talk to them. If you don't want to donate-tell them you are cash poor & to take you off of their list. They will usually stop calling after that. I always end up giving them something though, they are out there for us...

He said he was with the Tx Rangers, asked for my husband by name. Like a fool, I told him he was at work until late. I don't know how to report or confirm his call is a scam, but I'm sure it is. How did he obtain our number and name?

I got a call from this number too. They say they are Texas Highway Patrol asking for donations. Have called 3X in 2 weeks.
