I received a call from these fools too, they told me that I won a cruise for two and eligible for the grand prize of $25,000 if my wife and I visit their showcase location somewhere off the Sam Houston Parkway. Both of us must attend. Last time I won one of these fabulous 3-day cruise I had to be in loading docks in Florida on that given date. Obviously I didn't go so I don't know about the other strings attached.

Prerecorded message, trying to convince me I was a finalist for a DirectBuy shopping spree, also promising all participants a free vacation package, of the obviously low quality type associated with high pressure timeshare sales pitches.

Got to the end of the message, then hung up.  Maybe it would be transferred me to a real individual, but I can't be bothered to politely ask someone not to call me after they've already ignored (1) the Do-Not-Call List and (2) federal laws against telemarketing to cell phones.

Not sure what these folks are up to, but they're quite annoying. Caller identified herself as a representative of something called "Direct Buy" and said I was a finalist in some sort of vacation package. I've had repeated calls from "Direct Buy" and repeatedly I ask them to remove me from their calling list, at which point they inevitably hang up in my face.

I just received a call from this number telling me that I was a finalist in some direct buy contest. "She" told me that she had all of my information in front of her. It sounds like a real person but it's an auto response system. I remained quiet after saying hello just to see what would happen and I got something that went a little like this:

"Hello?"
a few seconds later... "Are you still there?"
a few seconds after that..." Would you like to take a moment to hear more about this..." and then I hung up.

Got a phone call from this number, they left no message. Sent a text asking who it was, received no response.
