Caller has been told several times not to call at place of business.  Keeps calling.  Please heve this company stop.

This company says they are University Fidelity. They start off by asking your name, when you tell them yes, they probe for more info. The person with an accent said it was concerning a bank statement. When I told her i don't have an account there she , asked me to confirm my birthday and last 4 digits of my ss# number. When I told her I was not the person , she said " Oh sorry I must have the wrong person. I hung up immediately!! People PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO OVER THE PHONE unless you are absolutely sure you know who you are dealing with. I am applauded that someone is using my name for any type of illegal activity. Be alert answering the phone. DO NOT answer by your name ask what is the call about. better yet, SLAM THE PHONE DOWN and report tell to the Federal Commission. You can sue them if they don't remove your number and they repeatedly call.

they keep harrasing me about money i owe for a lawn mover that i gave back i keep telling them that i cant paying anything right now due to me having a baby an i moving so i will be out of work they keep calling cell an my moms house

I got exactly the same call and recording today.  The number comes up as coming from Texas- I called the number that came on my caller ID and of course it is a number that is listed as "not in service".  These people have been calling for at least the past week sometimes 4 or 5 times a day.  I am thinking of putting a block on the number- any thoughts.  I too would just like these ridiculous calls to stop.

They called me today and spouted some mess about how important it was I call them back because my social security number was involved and they needed to see me and my attorney in their office immediately.  I am working with a credit company to save money to pay off credit card debts.  but in the meantime, i get threatening calls from all sorts of people, who, if they were legitimate, would tell me the name of their company, and this is another one who never says what company they are with.  they just threaten and say they are going to do something (who knows what because i can hardly understand what the woman is saying) with my social security number.  scum of the earth.

These people are horrible. I am past due on a payment to a card company - but had made arrangements and I'm making payments to them. I will not pay these people, I don't understand hoe they can continue this with all of the complaints that have been filed against them. Apparently we must file the complaint and then it goes no further. Because the WILL NOT STOP!

I finally called them back to actually find out if they represented the company that owed money to. A guy named MIKE got on the phone and had the nerve to ask me how I was "getting by" while being unemployed. He then TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO REASON FOR A PERSON LIVING A LARGE METRO AREA SUCH AS MINE TO NOT BE EMPLOYED. I broke and filed a complaint with Greg Abbott, Texas attorney General. This is a collection agency called Universal Fidelity - just called the number & that's what the recording said.  I have spoken with someone from there in the past.  My account is for unpaid business taxes, and they handle collections for the state of Ohio's accounts.  Unfortunately, the State office is not staffed with reliable employees, because this matter was taken care of YEARS ago.  
This agency's office also seems to have "unreliables" because I got a recording that said it was after hours & it's NOT after hours.  
The guy that calls me seems to be "alright" because he doesn't talk to you like you're a p.o.s. that doesn't pay your bills, and seems to just be doing his job - sucky job that it may be...

I have also been receiving messages on my cell phone from this number.

They also keep calling my parents and harrassing them, I haven't lived there for over three years!

they left voice mail, asking for a call back.  Calling them back got a auto msg saying all reps busy.  Vry annoying, this has happened under the number of 281-647-4152 as well.  I can never get anyone to answer the phone, and am not waiting for a rep.

They left a message to call, but did not give a reason, nor any other information. They also pronounced my name incorrectly.

I called the federal trade commison on this company twice for illegal collection activities and  policies. VERY DENSE, Ignorant people working here. Quilty of harrassment. Harrass them back!

I think it said it was from "University Fidelity Marketing".  I get calls from this number often, saying, "We are not a telemarketing company... please call..."  It's an audio recording.  It's extremely obnoxious and I'd like these calls to end.
