Shady scam involving Federal rebate for making your home more energy efficient.  They'll tell you that you've qualified for a $5,000 rebate for upgrades, schedule an audit and then never show up.  Not sure what they're doing with the information, but I'm guessing they're getting paid for names/addresses of people interested in energy efficiency.

Don't give them any information - if you talk to the manager, Will West, let him know that there's a complaint on file with the Texas Attorney General's office.

By the way I got a call from 832-696-8633 - same people though.

Shawn showed up at the house driving a late model solid white big Ford 4x4 pick-up truck with Arizona Licnese plate ANA8381 he said the name of his company was Killowatt Reduction Co. LLC.  Said he lived nearby and was from Allen, TX

This number appears on my caller id several times in one day. Recieved the same message, " this number is not set up to take voicemail messages". Made themistake and called it back from my cell#, now I am recieving multi calls a day to my cell. Even when i told the guy i was not interested in anything he had to sale, he continues to call back.

I got a call from this number at 2:18 pm today.  The woman knew my name and said she was from some energy company.  I said, "Hold on, please" and laid the phone down.  Eighteen minutes later, I picked up the phone and heard a busy signal.  Hehehehehe

I'm in Parker county and have been called several times during the day.  I don't answer because I sleep during the day.  I am thankfull for the ability to check this number out and discover not to answer.

just called me (in DFW) and I questioned the 5K - and he could not answer exactly.  So i asked fo ra return phone call #, and website, and both are not avaialable - so Ithis said scam all over it!!

Recieved a call at 9pm and answered because it said it was a cell phone.  The guy said he was from Go Green and was I aware that the government had $5,000 in Energy stimulus money for me.  I told him that I had already used the government tax credit on home improvements and I wasn't interested.  All of a sudden I was listening to a dial tone. I went online immediately after the call to investigate this caller and saw all these comments.  My experience wasn't as bad as others but I have to ask the question...why do they keep doing what they are doing if they are trying to actually sell something?  It makes no sense.

Telemarketer from "Go Green" and wanted us to do an energy audit.  I said we already had a free one with our energy company, and he told me that I "don't understand" and to "listen to him" and that I'm "pissing him off and f*** off."  It was awful.  He wanted us to use $5,000 in stimulus money.  How can these companies be blocked from your home phone?

I would like to report this number as a telemarketer even tho I am on the no call list.  Left a message of heavy breathing.

Some girl called in the afternoon and asked for me.  I said speaking.  She then said Good Evening... and got frustrated because she did not know the time of day ... cussed in my ear and hung up.

I received a call tonight at 7:40 pm. When I answered, the male on the other end of the line said "African Boy!". When I said "Excuse me" he began to talk about the Go Green in our area. I interrupted him and asked "What was it that you called me when I answered the phone?:, He told me he was talking to a coworker. I mentioned that it was unprofessional and he said to me "Man Fu@k you man". I then hung up. I don't need this, especially thinking that he has my number and possibly might know where I live. The right action needs to be taken. Judging by how uneducated and his slang terminology I know that he himself is an African male. I

Got an unsolicited call from this company "boiler room" even though I am on the Texas and National Do-Not-Call List.  First call was at 6:44pm on June 22, 2011.  The company (GoGreenEnergySavers) wanted to offer a free energy audit of my home.  They also mentioned the $5000 credits being offered by the federal government.  I somewhat reluctantly agreed to meet the sales rep at 1:30pm on June 23.  They want the spouse to also be present.  Upon arrival, I informed the rep named Craig that I would not be signing any contract or buying anything until I had thoroughly researched it.  He was nice, and I let him look at my last electric bill and found out some of the products they are selling.  I had already looked at their website and noticed they promote a number of products.  One was a device called the PF1200 which is supposed to save power by adjusting the Power Factor.  This is a SCAM.  Please see:

They were calling Dallas area on June 21 2011 trying to set appointments for "free energy audits" and acknowledged they were flagrantly (and illegally) calling numbers on the Federal and Texas "do-not-call" lists.

They told me they were based in San Antonio, which seems to be a lie, too.

Why doesn't our state government come down on sleazeball scofflaws like this???

Live in Denton County. Got called for past few days. Yesterday tried telling the guy to take me off the list and he hung up on me. Today I said, "Please take me off the list. Apparently the guy yesterday didn't want to because you are still calling and...." And this guy interrupts me and says, "I can see why he wouldn't do nothing for you because you aint nothing but a f'*ckin w***e you b*$tch." (and hung up on me again)  Husband tried calling back.  No way of getting them to stop other than (I guess) blocking that number. Would love to report them!

Same as others Go Green Energy Savers, They are calling Tarrant County now and had my name. When I asked why she was calling a number on the Federal Do Not Call list, she claimed the number was not on a do not call list.....

Supposedly "Go Green Energy Savers" in San Antonio.  Wanted to send out a representative to do an "energy audit" of my home and offer suggestions for energy savings and how to claim a Federal subsidy.  I asked to talk with a supervisor and got a "William West" who offered to take me off their list, and admitted that he knew it was a crime under both Federal and Texas law to telemarket to numbers on the Texas and Federal "do-not-call" lists.  He refused (of course) to give the address of their company, admitting that he knew I would use the information for filing a complaint against their company.  He claimed that many people on the "do not call" list wanted the information and scheduled an energy audit with them.... I told them that I would never consider doing business with criminal companies.

Same as everyone else. Telemarketers.
